GP32 Where Can You Still Purchase A Usb Cable?

Yeah, there never was an official JTAG cable. As for the USB cable, are you talking about for the NLU/FLU or the BLU? I think the BLU type is still available and will work on both (if you force the connector in on the NLU/FLU), but the NLU/FLU type seemed to have never had widespread use, so I...

    Burn In

Hmm, I guess my web host's server is down, as I can't get my page to load, and trying to log in to my hosting account keeps timing out. I'll just have to zip it and attach it here. Anyway, I'm reasonably satisfied with this one that uses 4x4 pixels. It'll just display static from the moment...

    Burn In

True, but I've used programs like that on my computer before and didn't really like how they came out looking.

    Burn In

I think I'll refine it a little more. I have it doing a full 16-bit range of colors now instead of just RGB, and that's a little better, but the refresh rate is a bit slow for my taste. Calculating and plotting 76,800 random-colored pixels every frame takes some time, apparently, haha. My...

    Burn In

Alright, I got a program doing what was described working, but I don't think I'll release it, as watching all those colors flash makes my head feel funny. Hopefully that video helps you out!

    Burn In

Probably wouldn't be too hard to do on the Wiz. Heck, I could probably do it if I felt like taking the time to sit down and figure it out. Well, at least I could do the static part, just randomly pick a number 1 to 3, plot a pixel in red, green, or blue based on the number, randomly pick...

    Burn In

Yeah, I've noticed images that have been on screen for a while take a bit to completely clear sometimes, so it makes sense to me that burn-in is possible.

    GP32 Gp32 Gcc Profiling

I hate it, when I come on these boards and read about the stuff you guys figured out, I feel like I know next to nothing about programming. Yet, I'm enrolled in an introductory C++ course at the moment, and I already know practically everything they're teaching in the class.

    GP32 Devkitarm R41 "working" On Gp32

Bump. You said in my old OpenJazz thread that it had something to do with fgetc();. If you feel like elaborating on that, and how you fixed the issue, please do!

    GP32 Devkitarm R41 "working" On Gp32

How did you get OpenJazz running, then, considering the version you put out was written in C++? Or did you just remove the problem functions (mainly the ones that access the SMC, IIRC) and replace them with functions from other libraries?

    GP32 Devkitarm R41 "working" On Gp32

Think you'd be able to get SDL working completely with C++ on the GP32? I keep trying different things and failing. I guess I don't really know enough about what I'm doing to get the job done. Slaanesh somehow managed to pull it off, but I can't get him to send me any information about...

    Replacing Wav Files?

Well... If I were you, I'd try making the new WAV files the same length and size as the originals. I don't know if that will make a difference, but it'd probably at least give you a better chance of having it work.

    Which Handheld Should I Get?

I kind of want to get a Caanoo by now. The Dingoo is OK, and the Wiz is pretty good, but both of them suffer from screen tearing on certain programs (the Wiz has a single diagonal line and the Dingoo has two slightly less noticeable diagonal lines on a lot of stuff), and the Dingoo has a pretty...

    Retroarch For Gph Handhelds?

Anything that would give me good Game Gear support on the Wiz, I would welcome. And also, if it could be ported in such a way that screen tearing was absent, that would rock! I'd probably replace all my other emulators with this if the screen tearing was gone.

Request: Fix Game Gear Support On The Wiz

Nope. Besides, AlexKidd2X was already ported to the Wiz, and doesn't even work properly using the native binary.

Request: Fix Game Gear Support On The Wiz

I'd still like to see good Game Gear support on the Wiz, but I'd like to report I just found the v1.2 Emulation Pack for the Dingoo, and the SMS/GG emulator included there produces much more accurate results than the older emulator I had been using.

Request: Fix Game Gear Support On The Wiz

So, I was thinking about getting a Caanoo, but I don't think I'd be able to spare the cash without selling my Wiz (which I don't think I want to do, because I love the OLED screen, even if the device lacks some things I want). But the problem is, I'm missing Game Gear support on something I...

Still Using Your Gp32 In 2012

I know man, I miss those days, too. :( I remember I used to play my GP32 in school all the time (not during lectures or anything), and more than once I had someone ask me "Is that a PSP?" a couple of months before the PSP came out.

Thinking About Getting A Caanoo In The Near Future.

How about Game Gear? It's awful on the Wiz, so I usually play it on my GP32. Is it good on the Caanoo?

Thinking About Getting A Caanoo In The Near Future.

I already have a GP32 and a Wiz. Used to have a GP2X, but couldn't stand the wacky digital-but-feels-like-analog stick. Never got the cash together before the F200 with the d-buttons was off the market. So, now I'm considering buying a Caanoo. What I'd like to know is, from those of you who...
