So after making a post on the official Irrlicht forums it seems that Irrlicht 1.8 will come with full OpenGl ES support but then I found something interesting...
There is a fully working Irrlicht wrapper for the Iphone which uses no other than OpenGL ES.
This wrapper also includes a physics...
I've seen the Penjin signature banner so I clicked on it and the site it took me to didn't give me much information at all.
Is it a game engine?
Or a rendering engine?
That "engine" looks awesome and the best part is how simple it looks to program animations and things.
Sadly I hate using any other IDE than Code::Blocks so I'm gonna wait until they release the project so I can see if I can get the source working with Code::Blocks.
I'm hoping that we might...
So I've been using Irrlicht for some time now to act as my rendering engine but now after figuring out how complicated it is to get Irrlicht to run on the Pandora I decided to ask and see if there was another rendering engine that I could use that works flawlessly with Code::Blocks and is able...
Hey everyone,
As I sat around in complete boredom I thought of something.
How well would a physics engine run on the Pandora?
I know that the CPU isn't that strong compared to a desktop or laptop but it should be able to manage a couple boxes and spheres right?
If anyone has any experience...
Not trying to dig up an old thread but I didn't see much of a reason in creating a new one.
But back to the point.
My question is that if I was to compile a program I made using Irrlicht as my rendering engine which supports OpenGL ES would it work flawlessly?
Would I need to do anything...
Thank you so much for the unwrapping tutorial. Now I can finally get some textures on these things. :)
If the only way to get more people on this project is to make a demo then be expecting one soon. ;)
I completely understand what you're saying and now I realize that I should leave out all...
Hi peoples,
Let's get straight down to business here shall we?
I'm pretty sure a great number of people have played the 1940 series of WWII shoot-'em-ups. (The arcade one that is.)
(If you haven't Watch this video but skip ahead to about half to see gameplay. )
Well I had an idea for a game...
I have minimal knowledge about compilers and such but I'm just having trouble setting it up in code::blocks maybe one of the other guys around here can point me in the right direction.
Hey Everyone!
Just to flaunt my newly aquired modeling talents I've decided to show off a couple models of mine. :D
Both are WWII style planes modeled from using plans from The Blueprints
They are also modeled with the Pandora in mind so I made them as low-poly as I could but they are still...
Not to hijack this thread but...
After downloading and installing arm-2010q1-202-arm-none-linux-gnueabi.exe I get completely lost I use Code::Blocks 10.5 and I have no idea on where to enter any of the information you've given us.
I've decided that I would like to work with you to attempt to remake this game for the Pandora so I was wondering if you'll be able to describe gameplay for me or if you could just post a link to a video so I'll have a basic idea of what I'm getting into. :P
If you would've read my first post you would've noticed the line:
So I am still looking for an idea but I want other people to use this thread as a way to find ideas also.
In every other forum I've been to relating to any form of software design there have always been images so that the people following the post can see how far along you are in your development or how the project looks so that they can decide if it's right for them.
And don't get me wrong here I...
