Well, before I had the sh file placed in the q3 folder, it would run. So, it tells me that something isn't right or is out of place with the sh file.
The problem with NanoGL is you can see through walls and some graphics are messed up :/
Nope. Did that, but it still does not open. Oddly enough, NanoGL version opens, but not IOQuake
Could it be that I'm on Slackware's OS? There's something (probably obvious) right under my nose that I'm missing :/
Can't thank you enough guys for putting up with me :P
I've attached the pndrun_quake3.out file. Maybe that will explain why it's giving me this error.
Edit: Nvm. i'll just copy and paste it instead:

PND ...
I did everything you said, but it ended up not running. It didn't give me an error or anything. I did however edit the file and add +devmap oa_minia (which basically starts a map and enables cheats, I noticed that binding commands to a key works, but not typing them in console. If I needed to...
Wait, the Q3CMD file works? That means I CAN run a couple of them. That also tells me the in-game mod menu doesn't work properly...
This is a big plus!
You can also edit controls in game.
P.S: was your Command line file named Q3CMD too? Or was it named something else?
i know that, but the mod I wanted to work doesn't. It's weird, because my PSP can run that Q3 mod from the menu (slowly, but still) so it tells me it's not a ram issue. And the PSP only has 64MB ram.
Okay, I do need to admit something: I renamed the extension before compiling from IOQuake3.tar.gz to IOQuake3.tgz because it would not 'compile' until I did so. And Wizard, I couldn't find anything either. I appreciate all your guys help/input, and I am probably going to (for now) just deal with...
Do mods run? Or do they need to be compiled for use on Pandora? I know that was the case for PSP port. I would LOVE the pandora if I could run Q2 mods. :D
Update: After like two and a half hours, it did some things, but ended up giving me an error saying :Package extension .tgzy not supported. Is there an application I can use to do so? It compiled tgz, but not sure why it can't do tgzy...
Well, I THINK I'm compiling IOQuake3 atm, but it's taking like an hour (or more) to do so. Hopefully this works. I'll post an update regarding the progress once it's finished.
Putting this aside for a moment: I made the package IOQuake 3, it did so successfully. Then, I installed it (and according to terminal, it worked) My question is where did it install it to? (Under Slackware)
It's virtually impossible to run mods without the use of console. Probably even from a Bat/sh file.
@Linux SWAT: Okay, I saw a slackbuild of IOQuake 3 already available. I placed it on my SD card, but nothing seems to work. I tried using GSlapt, and I see a bunch of files ready to be installed...
Can I compile IOQuake 3 for Slackware on the Pandora? Or will there be an issue like ram? And if I can, what program would I need to use to compile it?
Better yet, can't I just install it like any other Win7 application? Thanks!
I appreciate the reply, However I believe the problem lays within the source to which Sebt3 or Pickel compiled. The tty console problem is a known linux issue. But I will give this a try. I also looked at the commands for linux, but am not sure how to start the linux sh file with. I do, however...
It would be enough, but I'm not sure EXACTLY what to change in the source code. There's a problem using console commands in both Q3 ports for Pandora, and I can't run custom mods without the use of console...
Do I need to add to the source list? I'm really new to Slackware, so I'm not sure what I'm even doing. I want to install quake 3 from here: http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.37/games/ioquake3/
Do I add that to the list or something?
