Release 3.2 kernel issue tracking thread

I'm not sure how to post dmesg output...how do I do this? I am testing by scanning for devices within PCSX ReARMed, PicoDrive, and qjoypad. In the old kernel, all three of these programs detect and function with no problem, but in the new kernel none of these programs detect any gamepad present.

    TV-out : which emulators do work ?

Sweet! I look forward to trying tonight! By the way, I've been running PicoDrive TV-Out from the old kernel using a wireless gamepad and noticed that it gets choppy if I have the lid closed or if the screen turns off. When it gets choppy like this, I have to bring up the PicoDrive menu before...

Release 3.2 kernel issue tracking thread

I'm not sure if this is on anyone's radar, so I thought I'd mention it here. Gamepads/Game Controllers don't seem to work with the new kernel. No matter what I do, I cannot get any of mine recognized. They all work great when booting to the old kernel, but not with the new. I have tried...

    TV-out : which emulators do work ?

I had this same problem with PicoDrive not launching while HW Scaler/Overlay Mode was enabeled (Running SuperZaxxon Beta 5a). To get around this, hold the right shoulder button when you turn on the Pandora and choose to boot to the old Kernel (2.6.27, I believe). The TV-Out quality will be a...

    Logitech Wireless Gamepad Drivers?

UPDATE: I have discovered that my gamepads will work with SuperZaxxon Beta 5a after all...as long as I boot to the older kernel 2.6.27. Unfortunately, the TV-Out quality while booting to the old kernel is much worse than when booting to the newer one [it is pretty pixelated, but only in one...

    Logitech Wireless Gamepad Drivers?

I used to run SuperZaxxon Beta 3 (booting to old 2.6.27 kernel so that USB would work straight away), and I was able to use my Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad to play games. I've now upgraded to SuperZaxxon Beta 5a, and the gamepad no longer works. All of the other USB devices seem to work...

    PS3 Controller

I have both the USB Host and the USB Network set to automatically start at boot, and everything else that I've plugged in works with no problem. Do you still think this could be the issue?

    PS3 Controller

Update: I just reflashed to SuperZaxxon Beta 5a, and now, while USB seems to work perfectly well, I can't get the Pandora to recognize the Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad. I then reflashed to what I was running and it worked again...on more reflash to the latest and it no longer works. Could...

    PS3 Controller

I'm running SuperZaxxon Beta 3, booting from the older 2.6.27 kernel. I tried updating to the latest Beta 4, but that caused USB issues in both the new and older kernels, so I went back. I usually leave mine in DirectInput mode, and the USB dongle is already plugged into the hub when I plug...

    PS3 Controller

For what it's worth, I just bought a Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad which has both DirectInput and XInput settings. So far, this controller works on my Pandora with no problems (I have it plugged in through a USB 2.0 hub).

    External Keyboard Characters

Thanks, TrashyMG! I tried this out at a friend's place last night whose wireless keyboard also had character issues. We got the program and it solved it...so I went back and bought the other IOGEAR keyboard and it now works as it should. Hopefully no more system crashes...we tried some...

    External Keyboard Characters

I am currently trying to find the perfect wireless keyboard to bring with me where I go. I've tried our 4 dfferent kinds over the last few days and I've noticed something odd... Microsoft ARC Keyboard (wireless via nano USB dongle): Wouldn't connect to Pandora. Targus Bluetooth Keyboard...

    Controller Support for SNES?

Personally, I don't know much about programming other than intermediate HTML, but if someone could provide a patch, that would be great! I have a wireless keyboard that works with the emulator, so I'm wondering if it would be easier to write a program (for xfce4?) that can set controllers as a...

    Controller Support for SNES?

I am running kernel 2.6.27 and the controller is plugged in through a hub. I just retested in snes9x4p and the controller is unresponsive in both the menu and in the game. I then switched over to PicoDrive 1.80 and the controller worked perfectly...then back to snes9x4p and still nothing.

    Case Crack Gluing

I ordered through the preorder function on openpandora.org and it shipped to US through Link. I may consider getting a spare case in the future...it does sound like a good idea, but will have to wait for now. It is good to know there are options, though (try getting a spare casing for a DS)!

    Case Crack Gluing

Hmmm. Well, I'd rather not spend an extra $30 if I don't have to, but I am perfectly happy to do the repair myself if needed. On the one hand, it definitely needs to be fixed, but I haven't contacted anyone about warranty info. Who would I contact and how would I go about this? Would they...

    Controller Support for SNES?

Primary? I looked for other SNES emulators for Pandora, but couldn't find any...are there? And if so, where?

    Case Crack Gluing

I got my pandora about a week ago, and despite my best efforts, a small crack has appeared between the right shoulder button and the battery case tab. It's a small crack, but it allows the case to shift to a point that the right shoulder button gets stuck when pressed. If I hold the case...

    Controller Support for SNES?

Yes, I have a 7-port USB hub that works perfectly, and I'm able to use the controller for Playstation and Genesis, but there dosen't seem to be any options for remapping the controls in Snes9x4P... ...also what is the official protocol for adding a brand of USB hub to the USB Compatibility...
