    Gp32x.com Contest

Here's my logo. I was in a hurry so I made a quick one. I made it a bit retro-looking because the GP32/Gp2X are pretty much retro devices.

A Thing That Would Be Very Nice!

Yeah, it would be cool if RMXP worked on the GP2X.. But I hate XP for a reason.. The resolution! It's too big.. I love the old 16-bit resolution on RM2000 which gives the games a 16-bit SNES RPG look.. :) The XP games just look... Too new and amateurish in some way.. ;)

    Lets Rock

Coolness! Duke3D is one of the games that I'd love to play on my GP2X... The cheesy phrases in the game is the best.. "Time to kick ass and chew bubblegum.. But I'm all out of gum." Hahaha... :D

We Might Have A Gamemaker On Gp2x

A Thing That Would Be Very Nice!

Yeah it must be really hard.. But I really love the idea! :) Damn, I wish I was good at coding.. (the only "coding" I know, is the scripts in MMF... )

A Thing That Would Be Very Nice!

I see... Yeah that's probably how RPGmaker does it.. There's a file for every map you create for the game also.. Yeah sure you could create your own program, but the RPGmaker 2000 is really cool.. And then there's all those games. The graphics/resolution thing that it uses really gives the...

A Thing That Would Be Very Nice!

Hmm.. Well RPGmaker 2000 uses an EXE file and takes resources such as music, characters, backgrounds, tiles etc from folders.. The games use 320 x 240 resolution so it would be perfect for the gp2x.. However I don't think that ASCII (The company behind the program) would support a GP2X program...

A Thing That Would Be Very Nice!

I saw the talk about being able to play MMF or Gamemaker games on the GP2X, and I found it very interesting. The whole talk about it made me wonder another thing. Would it be possible to make a program that let's you play RPGmaker 2000 games one the GP32/GP2X? That would truly be fantastic as...

We Might Have A Gamemaker On Gp2x

Yeah, a program that let's you play MMF games on the GP32/GP2X would be awesome! :) There's tons of cool games made with it, and I've been using it for many years myself.. I started out with Klik n Play which I saw you mention earlier.

    I Need Help About Blu+....

Sounds like it'll be worth getting a BLU+ then. Yeah, I can't wait for the SNES emulation to catch up either... :) But the NES games and the SCUMM games are reasons enough for me to buy one... BTW, are the SCUMM games working well on the GP32? Are they slow or do they work well even with...

    I Need Help About Blu+....

Okay, so the BLU+ sound good to me then.. Looks like it doesn't matter at all wether I get a BLU or a BLU+. :)

    I Need Help About Blu+....

Okay! Thanks for the info! So the things I've heard that the BLU+ has a yellow kind of screen with worse quality isn't true?

    I Need Help About Blu+....

Aha! Thanks for the help! :) So there really isn't any difference between a BLU unit and a BLU+? You can run all the programs and games without problems, or is there any difference? Also, is this screen problem fixed if you replace the screen with a new one? Because it's just the screen...

    I Need Help About Blu+....

Hello! I'm very new to the GP32 scene, and doesn't own a device yet. However, I will soon purchase one, but would be happy if someone could answer two questions for me before I buy one. I'm considering buying one from gbax.com and I'm thinking of buying the "guaranteed 166Mhz" BLU unit. My...
