I've tested debian a couple of times, but ended up using Mandriva Linux as main OS, because of its great out-of-the-box hardware support (I'm lazy, I know  ).
That would mean removing all the advantages of Linux as well as making the user of HH unable to run GP2X Linux programs. wouldn't it  ? Would it be a possibility to intergrate Linux into HH; real <_< open source? Just wondering... :)
I thought it was quite obvious that the second CPU wasn't useless in the aspect of providing greater performance  . Thing is, it will be quite hard for programmers to port working emulators to the GP2X making use of its full potential without rewriting the core from scratch :( . Hopefully...
WINE acronym for WINE Is Not an Emulator, which is true; it just "pretends to be" Windows and uses the computer's real hardware.
Prothall: Bochs emulates x86 architecture - the GP32 has ARM.

Found out about the GP32 in a swedish gaming magazine, which had a whole page with incorrect info about it. That info; GBA Emu, etc, finally made me buy the GP32... :P
The spc system works fine; you open each file like you would open a rom. The sound quality is superb :) . What I long for, though, is the gym player...
Do you think they will? It doesn't sound like it, but I they do, that'll make me buy the GP2X ;)
Seriously, why do you answer questions if it's so damn annoying, Vimacs? Your attitude makes me feel sick! Get happy!
If you're going to "fiddle around" with Linux and an sd card, I recommend a distro like PCLinuxOS, in which you don't have to use fdisk or cfdisk; it detects all my sd cards correctly...
