    NES, GBC emus...

Dunno... I have tried the really old stuff, and I still have the impression that this works worse than the newer RPGs and stuff. Some examples i experienced: The vertical platformers I tried (Mario1, Castlevania1, Bugs Bunny1+2 ) all show similar problems: If the game has a time limit, the...

    NES, GBC emus...

I found GPVGB rather useless. Its funny though that it seems to play newer GBC ROMs alot better than old mono games... that could be just the games I tried, but I got the impression that the older and simpler the games are, the smaller is the chance for them to work. Anyway. Sloth, if...

    Flash movie player for GP32?

AFAIK, Macromedia has open sourced their flash player and file format. There are standalone flash players around which probably could be ported for GP32. So no legal issues. Also technically there shouldn't be too many problems... or does anybody know about stumbling blocks?

So... how does everyone feel about their GP32s....

Wonder who placed the vote for "mostly not"... :o  <_< He should make a coming-out at least!

Atari ST.. mega alpha all-crap release for fun :)

Wow... it's really amazing to see how fast this thing is improving! It's especially B), since you keep us updated about this project so frequently. I find it a great move from you to make such an early version available for download! Kudos and keep it going! :)

    (splurge) Porting a Vectrex emulator..

Well... I'd say why not. There is already a homebrew breakout clone, for which you have to hold your GP32 this way. I forgot where the download location was. Holding the GP32 this way is somewhat unergonomic and you will probably get a tendon sheath inflammation (hope I got the translation...

So... how does everyone feel about their GP32s....

My vote: Mostly. Every fiber in my geeky body wanted to vote for "totally". I'm completely in love with my GP32, and I spend most of my spare time playing on it, or looking after fresh meat for it on the internet. I want to shout "Buy one, you fools!" at all the people who toy with the idea of...

Rise Of The Dragon - Old Amiga game

Sarien is actually an open source implementation of the Sierra Adventure Game Interpreter (AGI). Sierra used this interpreter for its early adventure games till 1988. If you ever played one of these games, you will probably remember it's menu and text parser which was basically the same for all...

    MAME on hold

I liked it first, but it got very repetitive soon. That's why I wrote "graphics wise", since with Yoshi's Island, the SNES had already far surpassed the limit of what the MD was able to perform. I loved my MD and never had the urge to buy a SNES, but I always thought it was a cool console...

    MAME on hold

But IMHO Sonic pisses on Donkey Kong in terms of playability and cult factor. DKC was a nice game though, and the graphics were probably revolutionary for the time. For my part, I didn't like the graphics style of the later Sonic games... Dunno, they tried to make the level backgrounds more...

    Can Gp32 play 3d games?

Wow... never heard of that before. Looks promising. "Contact us if you would like us to develop a first person perspective or camera driven game using the Radium engine on any of the above platforms." This means that they are at least willing to give away their engine, but it's probably not...

    How fast is GPengine?

Hmm... it's always a double-edged sword with these save states. On one side I would love to have them, since I usually play a game for short time periods, for example on the train, and I find myself constantly playing the same first levels of some games. On the other site I know, that if there...

    Whats the best NES emulator?

@beebul That's always a matter of personal taste. I liked the NES very much but I was still surprised how many good games there were for it, after I started to play them again on my GP32. There are several wildly loved series like Mario, Megaman, Double Dragon, Castlevania, or Zelda. And...

gbax.com give away my gp32 to others

I forgot to say... The problem with missing shipping information seems to be a problem with the credit card paying form. I remember that the telephone number field was not mandatory. How my town and postal code got lost during the process though... I have no idea! Perhaps the whole process...

gbax.com give away my gp32 to others

Hmm... the bloody phone number... I also ordered my GP32 at gbax.com and recieved no shipping confirmation. After 2 days I got a mail, saying that the delivery is delayed and my GP32 should be shipped by the end of the week. On monday the next week, 6 days after my order, I still had no...

    Genesis Emualtor

The official languages of Switzerland are German, French, Italian and Romanche... so just choose the one you like the most. But thanks for the praises. I try really hard to express myself in English, but I find it difficult sometimes to make my point clear. As for the people who demand...

    winmx GP32 ROOM

Hmm... I'm not big of a chatter, but wouldn't it be better to use a more widely spread program to communicate? I had winmx once, but I never used it for chatting, since it is a P2P tool after all, isn't it? And AFAIK, there are spyware problems with this one too... Wouldn't it be better...

    OK, So I've ordered one!!

@Arutha *hehe* It'll sure helps pass the time, but you'll easily go over the top. The day I got my GP32, I already stored enough stuff on my HD to fill 3 128MB SMCs.
