to some no, but I believe to the majority, it's the community that makes it what it is...or atleast that is what I hope.
aside:you know what else has a TDP similar to 1/2 - 1/3 of that atom?
in any case, the "P2" will have to compensate for the power draw of the newer, more powerful socs, a 15W battery wont power a s800, t4, exynos 5 octa, i.mx, exynos 4 for more that 4hrs fully pegged.
took these today in downtown miami

a15 kinda feels...
isnt a15 outdated already, its getting superseded by a12, a53 and a57. Also in the quest for higher performance arm soc makers have been bumping cores and clock speed faster than new processes are available. exynos 5 octa(high core) and 5 dual(relatively high clock) are good examples.
I mentioned compression...for textures there is the new compression scheme from khronos and arm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptive_Scalable_Texture_Compression
lossy or lossless is another discussion.
is it fair to say compression? I remember (no sources) killzone devs(or other high profile sony dev) say that textures on bluray for the ps3 was uncompressed... maybe some heavy compression(I know there are limits) is the way to go...maybe some opencl decompression and you wont notice the...
