the pinochio part is translated to "worse than pinochio".
Spaniards like to use milk in curses. My favorite is "me cago en la leche", translates to "I take a dump in the milk"
I can understand why someone would be upset and cancel an order but random curses in a forum seldom help. But that's...
You may say anything about flash and html5 and all but we live now and in the real world where flash can be used and html5 can't. I would love to see html5 take off as I'm a webdeveloper by profession but it aint gonna happen anytime soon. Flash will be free of any licensing costs as of v10.1 so...
Problem with 3gs is not architecture. Apple does not want it.
As for pandora I suspect that it will get easier in the future as Adobe is opensourcing alot now and removing licenses
The problem I see is that the Pandora is such a small platform (not formfactor) that developers won't even bother if the OP team don't help them. That said I'm not sure it will be worth it. I don't expect many great games being ported anyway.
Did I mention I'm an optimist :)
Effective May 1, 2008, Adobe removed the entire licensing agreement from the SWF and FLV/F4V specifications. These licensing restrictions had meant that no one could build software that would "play" SWF content.
Adobe is working quite much to make more and more of the flash platform open...
It is all separated but I put them together just to show how it would look. I thought this house damage would be somewhat realistic. Houses rarely fall apart from a fire don't they? I will look into making the damage more serious.
@Pickle
Sorry for not posting anything yet. Been working alot.
Here are some things i did.
The screenshot is how I imagined the game and after seeing it I suppose you imagined it differently. If you want to use the graphics just tell me and I'll make the rest.
I took the liberty to make some...
A manual is something that has to be included if you want this to be a serious product. In addition it's required by law in Sweden and probably many more places. It wouldn't be a thick bible but some basic facts and stuff. I agree with most of the people here that it won't be read but that is...
@Shadowcat
The way Google Chrome and FF scales the site is the right way. I as a webdesigner would hate to have the browser destroy my layout by only scaling the text. The problem here is that the text is too wide.
Typography on the web is a pain in the ass. There are serious problems with...
You can't calibrate away more than very simple commands as in GH. To tell the game that if it shows a button to be pushed and the player pushes this button within 300ms it's ok, that's easy. To tell the game to turn left 300ms before the player pushes left is hard, you need some kind of...
the latency seems a bit too much and I don't see them developing the app for the pandora as even remotly probable. I assume you wanted to play PS3 on the pandora, the other way arround seems even less likely
Hi.
don't know if this of any use to you but I started sketching and it goy out of hand. I ended up with a story in my head obout a monkey in the year 4009 almost gets hit by a meteorite. The thing turns out to be a monolith like i 2001:A Space Odysee and suddenly he realizes that he has to take...
I'm sorry but I have to go with dflemst here.
It does not seem thought through enough.
It has a kind of developer designed feel to it. I would like to see a more discrete menu with more space to show apps or at least presenting them with more style.
Even if converting the s-video to vga is easy for you, for them it would include doing it on thousands of boards, so they would have to design a process for doing so and doing so safely. That's no easy task. You can't just go soldering things on there.
I don't know if I'm way off here but wouldn't one sollution be to force the user to declare a home SD? If there is none they will be asked upon inserting a SD. This way everything can just be stored there and if you want to swap "main" SD you have to copy that data first?
