That's nice and everything, but I still don't see $600 worth of tech in the Rift. If gearVR is $99 and the phone needed is $600, I don't see what makes the Rift alone that $600 price tag. Not saying it should be $99 or that it's on par with GearVR but I don't see 6x the product, I guess is what...
You're not spending another $1.5k on the components needed to run the Pyra though. I don't see what's in the OR that would be worth $600. To me, it's just too expansive for what it is. Utterly useless by itself. And they need different packages. I would be willing to bet that most PC gamers...
Because every time somebody does this, they criticize it for not being a smartphone, not running android, and all the other things that every other device on the market does.
I bought my Lenovo directly from the Lenovo website, but that's USA. Don't know if they have something in the UK. I did have to replace one of the GPUs in it and had no issues with the warranty, and installing a 256gb msata myself wasn't an issue.
