    Evil Trojan! Need Help!

Hi mate, Tried last night - I've literally only just upgraded to XP so I'm a bit of a novice there (bring back DOS!). I created a DOS boot disk with an NTFS reader, but couldn't access the drive partitions, only the recovery folder. Bloody thing. :( I know where the .com files and the server...

    Evil Trojan! Need Help!

Thanks SkySnapper - but I've tried the web-based scans already. They tell me (approximately) what the issue is, but can't actually deal with it. :(

    Evil Trojan! Need Help!

Hi folks, Wondering if anyone can give me a hand dealing with a Trojan my missus had managed to install. Below is the text of an email I sent to a friend about this - unfortunately he's as stumped as I am. Essentially, it blocks executables (so no AV software will run), re-writes itself to the...

    Best Emulators For Gp32

Strange. To discuss a couple of points: I don't understand the bit about full screen mode - the border around the screen is native to the system and its games. I think the border emulation on/off option may actually apply to games that use the border flashes etc. I think I remember the sound...

    Best Emulators For Gp32

Where do you here that Spectrum emulation was weak? It's pretty much perfect! Get hold of Speccyal K and head over to www.worldofspectrum.org - you won't be sorry.

    Mame Emulator?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - you don't need NeoGeo emulation, 3D or anything like that to have a version of MAME that supports hundreds of older, outstanding games. If this ever pegs up, then there's very little else I could ask for on this machine.

    c64 uridium

I think I may have reviewed Warhawk for Commodore User. Can't for the life of me remember what score I gave it. Good to see that I'm not the only 80s C64 throwback hanging around here :D

Transfer files between GP32 and Amiga?

There are PCI-based USB cards such as the Spider II and Amiga-compatible card readers.

Transfer files between GP32 and Amiga?

I used to work on CU Amiga magazine. You're probably best using a card reader.

    Don't shoot me for this....

I can't be certain, but I think this applies to the resale of any copyrighted work. I don't know if it's ever been enforced as resale is a standard practice.

    Don't shoot me for this....

Erm, because companies that have spent a load of cash developing a game that you're playing have a right to recoup their investment? The games are only free because they're illegal - I really hope you're having a laugh here. And the 24-hour thing - doesn't exist. Warez sites etc sometimes...

    Symbian OS

So you'd need a layer of emulation to run Symbian, as well as hardware specific emulation for the N-Gage. It ain't gonna happen.

    C64 - Frodo games compatibility

Rare have denied permission to distribute any of the old Ultimate titles. Unsurprising, as several of their old 8-bit brands are making a comeback. M.

Erm, have you ever had any dealings with Crag at Gbax? He doesn't ramp products - so it's a little unfair to critcise him.
