    Gp32 Cd

Well, I was talking to the original poster, but you may use my stuff too. ;)

    Gp32 Cd

Even though vimacs claims it would be okay to include stuff without asking if the selling price is low enough, I don't agree with that - you really should ask the developers of the stuff you're using. BTW: you got the license to use my stuff. (As if anyone would want that... :D )

    Browsing A Usb Device!!

What about just trying it and tell me if it works or not? /mnt is the "standard" mountpoint for temporary mounts. the main one is always /

    Browsing A Usb Device!!

Well, I haven't tried that with gplinux, but the standard linux way would be: mount /dev/sda1 /mnt which puts your usb device to /mnt and then browse /mnt as usual.

    Romset

I *think* Good* is only for videogame consoles, computer stuff is collected in Tosec archives. I'm not completely sure, because my emulation days ended... with HLE's release ;) Btw, those are diskimages, not roms.

    Gpq+ :o

*MEEEEEP* Wrong! ;) As Jekyll said correctly, it's 'Ain't talking 'bout dub' by Apollo 440. But, you're right to some small extend, the guitar riff is a slightly pitched sample from 'Ain't talking 'bout love' by Van Halen. ;) Sorry, music nut myself. ;)

    GP32 Playing Mods

    1. Mod standard is 4 channels, not 64. 2. It's rather cheap on CPU, i think it was less than 10% at 66mhz 3. 2 samples with the last non-GPL version (dunno if mirko changed the mixer) 4. I think i just killed the mixer and restarted it.

    GP32 Xm-tracker For Gp32 In Dev?

The backend *may* be portable, but there are loads of dependencies for the frontend (which is actually the most important thing - the backend is less more than an ordinary mod player): ck@lacuna:~> ldd /usr/bin/soundtracker 8:38PM...

    GP32 Just In Idea!

You're completely right about that. I was discussing that issue with ref/arda once, and we thought there should be some common standard amongst developers. We need a homebrew standards consortium! ;)

    GP32 Just In Idea!

If it's only one file that needs to go on a SMC... People need to learn about the BLU+ problem, so they should learn about the solution, too. ;)

    GP32 Just In Idea!

The idea is actually pretty good, the problem is to create a 'standard', so that every coder knows about that. BTW: Your idea would require opening and parsing the file, I'd prefer to just check for the file (ie: if there's a lcd.cfg, you got a BLU+).

GP32 Developer Seeks Advice On Sec*max

Without knowing anything about the Yep Player, just by assumption, I'd say it needs some proprietary software that encrypts mp3s with secumax for the player, because they want the owners to use their (probably windows only *yuck*) software. cowo: Thing is, from what i've heard, you need to sign...

    GP32 Partially Offscreen Sprites

Mirko's SDK blitting code doesn't check for boundaries (it doesn't in the last non-GPL version at least), you should add checking to the SDK yourself (or better write your own blitting routine).

Adic Factorize Game Blu+ Bar Glitch

Indeed. One topic would be sufficient - or better, don't tell it to the people here, tell it to the developers via email. This way you could be sure they read it.

    We Need More Coding Competitions!

Well, another idea would be a community based compo... eg. someone being the chairman of the compo is collecting donations from the community to buy prizes, and the community could choose what kind of compo it is, eg. an emulator-only compo - This way the 'scene' would get what they want...
