    Paypal E-check Purchase?

I have a PayPal account with my bank account linked. Basically, the only kinds of payments I can make with my PayPal account are E-Checks, and the online stores I have tried buying things at do not accept this kind of payment(Newegg). I just want to know if the Pandora devs accept E-Checks from...

None of those games are open source.

    Did You Preorder?

I didn't pre-prder. I'm with the "wait for the second batch" crowd who have gotten burned before.

    Stable Overclocking With The Pandora

Is frequency scaling done with powernowd or something?

What Games Are Available For Pandora ?

I thought it was a .deb solution for unpacking to the SD card.

    2.6?

Will we be seeing a 2.6 kernel or 2.4 kernel, like the GP2X?

    User Accounts On The Pandora

Since the Pandora has wireless capabilities(and with it comes all the fun networking stuff with Linux), I was wondering if the user account you use on the Pandora is simply the root account, like the GP2X was. This obviously isn't a problem on the GP2X as you need physical access to the unit to...

Pandora's Emulators - What Will Work And What Won't

What about GP2X emulation? I know, it sounds funny, but there are some closed-source games for GP2X that can't be simply recompiled for the Pandora. I think it would be neat to be able to emulate the GP2X completely, maybe even Wiz emulation to show GPH who's boss :D. The CPU isn't that...

    Quake 3

OpenArena is only slightly different from ioquake3 in that it uses a different master server and no cdkey checking. You can actually use the ioquake3 executable to connect to OpenArena servers, if you use the OpenArena data in place of the real quake3 data. So, with that said, those of us who...

I don't think it's the complete code. Probably released for modders.

    Quake 3

Keep in mind that you cannot modify any of the original data. If you do your client will fail the pure check when you connect to an internet server and you will not be able to play online. Texture compression will have to be done at load-time.

    Quake 3

If you use Linux, top(or htop, my favorite). On Windows, the task manager can tell you how much it's using. Keep in mind a memory usage test on x86 might not be reliable since the Pandora is not x86.

    Quake 3

The Quake3 engine(or rather, OpenGL) can resize textures on the fly. In Quake3, just issue the r_picMip cvar. r_picMip allows you to force the highest resolution mipmap levels. higher values force lower-res mipmaps as the max size. Mipmaps are generated as textures are loaded so there's no need...

    Pandora Fps

Perhaps someone could do a Descent/Descent II port? The GP2X port is too hard to play due to a lack of a joystick.

    Quake 3

You do not need the .map sources as you don't need to recompile them. BSP files are not architecture-dependent. The only thing you really *need* to port is the client(and maybe the server if you're planning on running a server on the Pandora hardware). Everything else you can drop in and use...

No. The Unreal source code is not available.
