Had a small problem with it initially, but I am putting down to a bad download. Since then SquidgeSNES works fine... in fact I know it works with zip files cause that is all I am using with it. In fact I zipped a smc file just so it followed the same format as everything else.
I am using...
Anytime you update you firmware you are introducing the opportunity to brick your device. But from what I have read... you would need to downgrade to version... 2.0 and do upgrades from there back up. I would only do it if I had my Gp2x on a A/C power supply.
There is only one emu that I use that I have troubles exiting and that is Final Burn Alpha but Squidge solved that for me by explaining how to use the button that exists on the left side of the Gp2x... "just slide it up and then back down" exits all emu's.
My only other major problem I have...
I am not sure that happened... I always use the taskbar to remove my memory cards, so I am pretty sure it was not a card reader issue. I might have been something to do with the Gp2x. I have reload everything... and downloaded SquidgeSNES... and it is working now thanks.
/roms/snes is what I instinctively set up for my roms, and when it didn't work I put it in the same directory as the executable. My roms are all in zip format and when it didn't get recognized I actually tried them again unzipped. When I go into the select rom menu the header is correct...
Actually I have and the road does show up... but... its unplayable. Its like the layer is not in sync with the rest of the game. But I am happy to know that as of now it is a known issue and I won't worry about anymore.
Thanks for answering.
I think he is like most of us that shop on the internet... acknowledgment of you order is but follow-up can sometimes be missing. I think like me if the seller responds to concerns about the item having left you have more peace of mind. When you are not receiving any communication from the...
I have a new MKII with FW3.0.0 and I seem to have a handle on most of the emulators and Interpeters however occasionally I find a problem that I can't find an answer for. I have had my unit for a few weeks now... and am just finding some time to actually play with it. Love it.
Anyway... my...
Yep I am a newbie here... and things have been going pretty good. I have most of the emulators running with the exception of a few but I will do a little more research before asking.
I do have one question though... and its about Ride Hero.... I have it sort of running on GNGeo2x but I am...
I thought I was probably the oldest person visiting these boards.... but there is hope. I still probably am the elder statesman... but at least I feel better that someone knows what pong and a dial (radial) type controller is.
I never played Lemmings but there was another game like it with a medieval environment that played similar that I loved... wish I could remember what it was.
Sure. See the switch on the left side of your gp2x? Slide it upwards and then downwards again. That'll quit the emulator ;)
Thanks... thats how I go about exiting now... was just wondering if there was another way. But great job on the emulator so far.
Interesting that this post got brought back to life. I did a lot of research on this topic once I realized I needed a new battery charger for my new Nimh batteries. My search took me to the most economical solution... the La Crosse BC-900 definitely caught my eye but was more than I wanted to...
Thanks for the great emulator... and I love being able to play Start Trek again. Reminds me of my younger days... popping in the quarters like there was no tomorrow. But I have a question... though I am finally able to play Star Trek on MAME... I don't have sound. Is there something I need or am...
I have a ton of memories... starting with the original pong. How someone had purchased it and brought it over... my eyes opened wide that day. Then there was the Radio Shack Tandy and Star Trek (omg so much fun with nothing more than text as graphics)... or the Atari 2600 and playing Space...
The only thing I find with Gmenu2x is that it is extremely slow to load or is that something to do with me? My unit usually takes a good 15 - 20 seconds to load up but with Gmenu2x it seems to take even longer. As much as I don't mind the interface... I would rather not have to wait the extra...
