Got My Gp32 At Last, But Won't Play Emus?

I suggested it to isolate your problem making folders on the SMC, if you can format it in XP then create folders its the previous dodgy format thats causing your problems. If you have formatted the card as a 128 you're just going to run into more problems later on if you ignore the problem now.

Got My Gp32 At Last, But Won't Play Emus?

hi what size was the SMC you ran mkdosfs on? if its not 128 it won't have worked correctly if you used the default options. I suppose its possible that if it did work and formatted your card as a 128 when its not it could be causing windows to crash when reading it - doesn't need that much of...

    Psp Homebrew Takes A Hit

I like the quote from the irc log "[02:36] <HonkyKong> This was possible months ago, it's not like it's something new." which is true. People worried about this for flashme, hence the whole making contacts thing, which apparently wasn't necessary... I guess DF would make this because "he can"...

    Best Flash Cart For Nds?

If you have a quick search on the gbadev.org forums you should be able to find a matrix somewhere of all the supported flashcarts for NDS usage. Most work for homebrew, I'm not sure if any are "better", you just need to factor in things like the amount of SRAM / how you upload stuff to it. Any...

Wow! Looks great. I've given my "smcrecover" page a much needed overhall ( http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/smcrecover ) I had started to think about the options and such like I'd put in... some are probally OTT though... - Try and automatically "guess" the right drive... there are a few things in VB...

Question About Formatting Smc's And Windows Xp

    1. Do new SMC's have to be formatted before I can put stuff on them and use them in my GP32? - Depends really. Sometimes if you make the folders they will just work, others are formatted incorrectly, all depends where you get them from. 2. If the answer's yes, and since I DO have WXP, what's...

Question About Formatting Smc's And Windows Xp

You can only "ruin" a harddrive using either method if you point it at the wrong drive letter. The first method is not exactly a "good" way to format a SMC though... but no one should need to use that now anyway... mkdosfs works flawlessly on XP, you just need to be able to use the command line...
