i am not sure but ivew tried a few differnet cables the one i am suing at the moment is a belkin lead it says "high speed data transfere" but couldnt find any model nums or that i think i used to use it for networking between 2 pcs eons ago
i didnt have it powerd on before boot i will reboot...
i just got the breakout board and after laods of seraching around for paralel cables and a long enough serial cable i go to jtag and it doesnt work
ive got a model 2 (not a mk2) and have done like it said in the manual ive hooked up an adapter to the board and the red lights turns on and ive...
anyone planning on building or know anyone who is making a GP2x cable with serial and JTAG abilities since thats the main reason i wanted the BoB aswell as wanting TV out so i could test out skins (which i cant do just now)
but i am willing to settle for a cable that just does jtag and serial out
do you plan on adding command line support? (obviously not the most important thing but possibly the simplest?)
just curious i like to load all my game directly via scripts
cant wait to test new ver as soon as i get my gp2x unbricked
bah, tis annoying having to wait till at least the 20th of may since i just bricked my gp2x cos of the boot loader crashing on updating to 2.0 and now need to jtag
have you tried running it via script passing the emulator itself the ROM?
i never could get it working with the menu but much prefere command line based stuff myself anyway
I have scripts written, they rely on the LCD/CPU Tweaker utility however
Unless you mean that there is another way to overclock directly via scripting.
i'm having a problem with a new script ive been trying out i have one script such as "AD&D - Dragon Strike.gpe"
all thats in this file is
./nes.gpemu "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Dragon Strike"
then in the nes.gpemu is this

what i ment was
when overclocking when using the lcd tweaker and you exit a game (not return from crash and such though it still happens there) there is noticable flicker
where as emulators which built in overclocking just change the cpu settings and dont touch the lcd or do not appear to...
does anyone know if its possible to flash cramfs from u-boot ive tried flashing it from open2x 3 ways one by running the script method one by changing the name to gp2xfile.img and fashing via u-boot and the other was the same but with the file name open2xfile.img
none of them worked however
