Haven't been working on my game since I posted that video, I won't be submitting for the compo... I'm not really into making games at the moment... I don't think I will make anything before I have my Pandora...
I too am working on a game for the compo (and doing an internship in a game/multimedia company). I'm glad to see there's interest in this project and I'm we sure will continue development after the compo (and when I finally have my Pandora) :)
Working on a game for the competition :) For now it's called "Project Rainy Day". Got a simple run/jump/collision tech demo now, going to add some game specific actions for the player next :) Here is how it looks at the moment:

@Reyn: That's the same error I got on my Unbuntu pc which is running an older version (version 9 I think).
@Foxblock: I'll have to try that as I alreay installed all SDL stuff via synaptic but as it's an older version of Ubuntu I'm sure it's an older version of SDL too.
Thanks to Foxblock there is now a linux binary included in the .zip file, so head over to www.siegfriedcroes.com and have fun (I couldn't get it to work myself as I'm a Linux noob but according to Foxblock it should work).
I'm using Penjin (I'm sure that's what you meant when saying "Panjoust") so it's just a matter of recompiling. But as a windows user and novice programmer I don't now anything about compiling for other OS's but don't worry there will be a Linux version soon.
Multiple characters would be cool but having a wizard that uses magic is kind of weird as it's not about a colour sword anymore.
Now what I wanted to say, for those who use Windows (it should work in wine too) you can download the first version of "The Colour Sword" on my website (which is...
Your right, but I went for The Colour Sword because it worked better for the title screen logo (I just could find a good way to arrange it for "Sword of Colour")... :P
@Trip: Thanks :)
Thanks for the replies guys :D
@Lynceus Glaciermaw: Yeah, I like those ideas but I'll see if I can include them in the game (see "the reason for this game").
@Orion4874: I would love to make it more like Zelda, so a real adventure and not just one screen levels (also read "the reason for...
SWORD OF COLOUR (working title)
I'm working on a "new" game at the moment, actually turning my PandoraPanic minigame (called "Arena") into a stand alone game with extended and more original gameplay. For those who never heard of "Arena" it looks like this:
In this new game you play as a...
Can't wait to play this game! Me and my brother(s) used to play it when we were young, so it's working with music now? The music is sooo awesome, brings back all the good memories... :)
I was thinking of Worms, I thought there was one on SNES and it should have a mode where you can pass the controller/pandora on to the next player when it's their turn.
Nice work PokeParadox, GLES will make the engine even better! Thanks again for making and improving it, it's because of Penjin/you I can make games for the pandora :) :D !
Okay, now I'll get back to waiting for my Pandora... :P
Doesn't really fit the 256tris (it has 2408tris  ) but does have a 256x256 texture and I'm sure the Pandora could handle this model. It's Scrooge McDuck :D !
