I definitely vote for psx emulation :)2D games like Castlevania, Oddworld or FF serie would be fantastic and could probably run well! and some 3D games already runs pretty well
Very impressive work indeed ;) but why is it, that 44khz sound is soo slow even @250Mhz, whereas 22Khz works flawlessly?
Are both core the same speed? or is the second core fixed at a static speed? Why not set it automatically, according to the samplerate used? i don't know how all this works...
Hey that really works!!! :D
One thing though, in the only game i tried at te moment, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow : i have minor graphical glitches, mostly on screen changes, so nothing to be really worried about, but i haven't tried other games yet
Hey i've been away for a while, but I just noticed that Castlevania SotN works again!!
well, sort of... the sprites are all garbled :) but it's running pretty good if you manage to get ingame :)
Besides Feisty's release date, the only thing I could have said was : the GP2X card reader is sh*t, and the cable is often faulty. Hope open2x firmware will be better ;) (it it SURELY will)
you really should invest in a cheap SDcard reader :)
Sorry if that's not too constructive lol
*launches...
Tekken 3 works for me (but I don't know if it's pal or ntsc) but FF7 doesn't seem to launch, either from a savestate or just loading the iso (black screen, have to reboot)
Any comments on FF7?
Actually I think the PSX doesn't have any real 3D
It's something like 2D polygons rotated/scaled and built together to make a 3D illusion, isn't it?
That's why it can be emulated on our gp2x :)
The first console to feature real accelerated 3D was N64, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)
