    Release UAE4All 2.0

I'm having issues with this! Maybe I'm expecting too much. I've never seriously used UAE4All on my pandora (or wiz or GP2X for that matter) before. Much as I loved my A500 for the many years of joy it gave me, when it comes to emulation, my (still set up and working great!) A1200 is where it's...

    FUSE emulator...annoying sound

Thanks for that Dave18. Tried out ZXPandy; very nice but I had quite a few issues with it. Could tell it was designed to run on GP32! Would prefer, I hate to say it, the FUSE port running great again. But I've always suspected evildragon of being a C64 man. Conspiracy I tell you!

    FUSE emulator...annoying sound

Sorry for Necrobump! I only just gotten round to upgrading to HF6. FUSE is my most used emulator, and the update has definitely introduced a clicking sound and very poor performance, such as frame rate drops and screen tear - bit of a deal breaker, really. Only seems to happen when the emulation...

    Release Super Geometry Dust

Oh yes, the original Amiga Stardust, a classic! Wii Geometry wars is pretty good - fast, playable, tricky. You need to use the 'classic' controller of course, and, like all wii games, looks painfully low res on your telly compared to hd consoles. Been a good few years since I played it now, will...

    Release Super Geometry Dust

This looks really good, can't wait to try it out! Thanks for your hard work! Edit - tried it, love it! Proper old school, and harder than Nails McHard's harder brother. Have played both Geometry Wars on Wii, and Super Stardust on PS3 to death (hell, the original Stardust on A1200 as well!)...

Anyone Receive Their Tv-Out Cable Yet?

I emailed openpandora about getting one, after a got my pandora. I can't remember how much they were originally, but they wanted £15 (didn't ask about p&p). They must be made of gold. No wonder they are taking so long. Seriously though, I wasn't tempted any more. Not at that price, and not...

    Most Underrated Games

I played Explorer for a bit back in the day - might have to revisit it again! I remember it felt a bit like Captain Blood though, big but empty. I always thought 'Starfox' was underrated on the Spectrum. Reviewed poorly, but I loved it and played it for bloody hours! That was the game that...

    Pidgin crashes in HF5

I have always had random freezes with Pidgin, with HF4 (built in) and HF5 (.pnd) on my Pandora. I suppose I have just accepted it as one of the little quirks you learn to live with! If it helps find the bug, I use a yahoo IM account, as do my contacts. The freezes happen probably about 2-3...

    Release Ginge

Ah, I see! That makes sense then - I thought it would be a more trivial task. Thanks again for your good work!

    Release Ginge

Yes I tried that, I 'mounted' the .pnd on my laptop and copied the files to a new directory- inside was this... scot@scot-laptop:~/Pandora/ginge$ dir ginge_dyn ginge_prep ginge_sloader gp2xmenu_data readme.txt ginge_dyn.sh ginge.sh gp2xmenu lib tools I then placed my file...

    Release Ginge

I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what you mean. When I was messing I did try just putting a new gp2xmenu and related files into the appdata directory to see if it would work, but it didn't. I tried 'disassembling' the .pnd to look inside, but fiddling with that and reassembling it back together...

    Release Ginge

I know you are on a break notaz, but just a little request if you are ever looking at updating ginge again. I was messing about inside the .pnd, as I wanted to change the gp2xmenu to the wiz one (I've not used my GP2X in years, and I still use my wiz!), but very quickly ran out skill. Would it...

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Thanks again for this great emulator, and have a good break!

    Ntfs Or Fat ?

Not NTFS - Microsoft proprietary format, needs a licence to use. FAT32 is pretty standard, and microsoft thankfully forgot to patent it, so can be read by just about anything. There are linux file systems too e.g. EXT, but I've stuck to FAT32 for maximum compatibility.

    Port Requests

Thought I would be cheeky on the off chance that anyone out there with skills is twiddling their thumbs thinking of something to port! In case you don't know, these two programs are open source astronomy packages. Stellarium is a nice planetarium package, Celestia is a bit more ambitious. I...

Any way to run Neogeo/FBA/CPS2emu (GP2x) on ginge?

I'm sure I saw that someone was working on a CPS emulator in the pandora wiki - went to look again after reading this and all the references to it had gone. Would love a bit of Darkstalker!

    Touchscreen Boycott

I'm with you, Link. I don't use the touchscreen unless absolutely forced to. It seems too delicate, and the stylus too brutal. The best stylus ever was the zodiac one, metal with a rubber tip. Would love to see third party styluses make an appearance. I'm used to the twin nub navigation on...

    P-Uae

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the gui was always a bit useless in E-UAE anyway, and on the pandora it is even worse with half the window missing! So, I'm used to messing with the .uaerc. Not used to compiling though, or making a pnd - so I'll just need to wait for a version which is worthy of...

    P-Uae

Just been trying this out, and not been too successful! I have E-UAE set up in various places to clone my (still going strong!) A1200 with harddisk, memory expansion, accelerator, etc. P-UAE is obviously a branch of E-UAE, given that the title bar still says E-UAE! I have edited .uaerc to setup...

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Tried this, but having CLI issues (can't setup device)! Don't think it'll help tbh, as cdrdao is what AcetoneISO uses to do its thing. I'd imagine the resulting .bin would be the same. Be nice to get the .toc in .cue format though. Thanks anyway!
