When archiving with normal compression it says it will use 3MB for compressing and 2MB for decompressing. Does this apply on the PC or would this memory be used on the GP32?
:)
I'm thinking of zipping my roms to save space and allow me to add more to the SMC. What I'm unsure about is the method used for zipping. I use 7-Zip 4.20b and will be saving as *.zip. Within the GUI, I'm given the options of Store, Normal or Ultra. Which is the best to use? It mentions the...
No problems with Genesis (Dr MD 2.0) and NES (LJGP32 0.4 or NesterGPd 1.5a). OpenSnes9xGP 0.3 will show the white bar but you should be able to run Snes9xGP 1.0 (although slow). There has been a converted OpenSnes9xGP for the BLU+ recently but haven't got round to testing this version yet.
:)
I read about this "yellow kind of screen" also before purchasing my GP32 BLU+. When it arrived, couldn't see what all the fuss was about, looked normal to me. As mentioned, you will find the screen better on the BLU+'s

OK, thanks :). So by clicking on the Ads, Google pay yourself for hosting which you then pass onto the dev's? Just trying to figure out how it all works.

I agree with DRK. Far better to vote for someone after they have released their projects (so you can judge them on how good their work is rather than how good you think it is). It's obvious that Rlyeh's emulator's are going to win first place one month but his work should be judged after it is...
Hi
I've just recently purchased "Learn C++ in 21 days" and I'm on day 3 so far :D. As a complete noob to programming it just seems so alien and I'm wondering whether I'm ever going to understand this language at all. Ok, I'm only on day 3 but will there come a time when it all just clicks it to...
I'm hoping that Rlyeh won't announce his release but instead just make his icons available from his webpage (as they are greyed out at the moment with no link). You can just imagine the excitement, should someone stumble on his page. fDay is going to be a day to remember :D.
:)
I think I'll base my decision on what project (emulator, game, etc) has given me the most pleasure (ooh err) over the last month. So many good projects to choose from :). No doubt that Ryleh will get my vote once his emulators have been released but untill then...

Would it work out better if we could decide on the first week of every month which Dev would get the clicks for the previous month. Just an idea :). I know it's a bit of fun but you can then judge a dev on what he's done rather than what he's doing (if you get what I mean).
:)
I'm having problems also :(. It mentiones in the readme about selecting Joystick and A to select Kempston. Not sure what I need to do with the Joystick.
:)
Thanks guys :D. That's going to save me alot of hassle. Previously, I was stopping the reader, removing the SMC and then having to pull out the reader (from the USB cable) and then re-connect for Windows to recognize it again. I'll change the settings on the card reader and then pull out the SMC...
1. Does a card reader need to be undocked (using XP) before a SMC can be removed?
2. Does a case exist that can can hold many SMC's (inc protective case) and batteries? I've got quite a few of each now :D.
