    Solar Charging Anyone?

I bought a really crappy solar battery charger. It takes 2-3 full sunny days to charge 4x 2500 Mha NiMh AA batteries. It's nice and compact though, and by keeping 4 batteries charged it will top up/charge any USB compatible device. Perhaps we could all make mini nuclear generators to provide...

Did you try turning off dynarec? If not try READING my previous post, it might help.

Adobe Flash 10.2 For Cortex A8 Linux Download?

Yes, I did mean linux.org - thanks for reminding me! It would have been very frustrating for me not to be able to get into my own account, should I have wanted to. Maybe it is an older one, though it's also possible the time stamps are wrong. Midori keeps telling me there's a time error as...

Adobe Flash 10.2 For Cortex A8 Linux Download?

Oh - thank you very much for the kind compliments Kangal. It's nice to know someone appreciates my sense of humour. Back on topic, as I was just mentioning in the thread about the new Midori PND which supports flash, I think I just found the copy of 10.2 beta I downloaded from somewhere...

    Release Midori 0.3.6

I think I just found that copy of the latest flash beta on an SD. If it is more recent I'll try it and report back. EDIT: I haven't had a chance to test it yet. I did attach and send a copy to myself at my email address "Titan@linuxmail.com" which I log onto at the www.mail.com site. I'm...

Release Downloaded PND's sometimes don't work?

I had this issue ALL the time when I saved a PND onto a FATxx/NTFS formatted card. Even PND's downloaded on my Pandora would be rendered useless by saving them to any card with a windows filesystem. I suggest formatting the SD to EXT2/3 and it gets rid of this problem. If you really must have...

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Are EPSXE savestates not the same as PCSX (on the PC/Pandora)? If it's a simple memory snapshot it creates,, you could savestate on EPSXE on the PC after it gets passed the "2 card checking" stage, try copying and renaming it approprialtely for PCSX on the pandora and load it to get past the...

Adobe Flash 10.2 For Cortex A8 Linux Download?

Adobe's new slogan... "We are Flash bastards." Ed, try telling them you have a potential test base of 3000 knowledgable users willing to put the alpha/beta ARM flash plugin through it's paces. This might be a great incentive for them, they may want to use us as guinnea pigs as we are better...

Adobe Flash 10.2 For Cortex A8 Linux Download?

I never got a reply either, but I was able to get a copy from a rapidshare link. Frustratingly I don't know if I still have it, and even if I do I won't have access as the HDD it'd be on is at this moment in time in another country. I'll have it back in a few weeks and if you can't find it...

    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

If the mem card files are stored in a seperate directory, you could try deleting one mem card file, then setting the permissions for that directory to read only (including root - use "sudo thunar" in terminal to open file manager with root privelages). This might prevent PCSX-Rearmed from...

    Release Audacious

I'd realy appreciate it if someone who has converted the original winamp 2 skin could upload it here for me, or if that's against the rules send me a nice PM. I liked the old winamp2 but right now can't be doing with the hassle of extracting and converting. I love audacios, thanks for the...

    Esoteric Pandora Uses

I use mine to inspire awe in nubile young women who fall at my feet yelling "take me you technological marvel of human evolution - we must breed and create more supreme beings like you". So far it hasn't worked, but I'm still hoping. Also, I hope to one day use the pandora as an emulated 1541...

    Beta Midnightcommander

Look inside the "media" directory (go as far back/up as you can), your SD card names should be accessible there.

    Debian on SD

Seems like I accidentally breathed life back into this thread by posting about it on GP2X boards. Perhaps for the sake of convenience we could issue a "Do Not Resuscitate" on this rather sickly and overlooked duplicate thread, and people could be redirected to the more useful and up to date...

    Debian On An Sd Card

Great to hear you have started work again (and nice to know you have the Pandora back). I ordered 2 class 10 32gb SDHC's and I'm looking forward to abusing them. At the moment I have 2 16gb cards, and I don't do any card swapping - but I do connect the 500gb passport HDD at night to download...

Is there any reason why you wouldn't be using SCUMMVM to play Indy Jones + FOA?

    Beta Uae4All Additions

Ah hah... Star control seems to work for me. There was one minor problem where there was a "repeated key press" which put lots of letters into the CLI window, I just hit the backspace key and deleted the letters and it started loading up straight away. I only tried it once, but it loaded up...

    Beta Uae4All Additions

Have you tried different memory configs, different number of active drives and different kickstarts - and different cores? I'll try it out tomorrow when I get some time, but I'm very busy being poorly right now, and my Pandora is busy with lots of torrents (it seems 40+ torrents is taxing it's...

    Beta Uae4All Additions

For some reason while playing a game for a while the pandora goes to sleep. Brilliantly you can wake it up by wiggling one of the nubs (so they are still alive under there...), but shouldn't it prevent the screen turning off and the pandora getting underclocked while I'm actually in the middle...
