Efficient Agenda and Organizer for the Pandora ?

If liferea worked with SZ1.54, I would have downloaded it. The idea of Makagiga is OK, but I've not had good luck with the swiss army knife type apps. I don't mean to insult any of the "give me text-based or give me death" crowd, but definitely not my bag. It is not a good use of my time to...

    Stream browser

Thanks. The way it is going, by the time I get setup up for all my normal use, I will have 10 audio players, each with a single purpose. I wanted to use Deadbeef, but it won't output via BT (and so on...).

    Wireless Printing with Pandora?

Since dibad0011 sold me his P, I doubt he is working on this anymore. I am interested in how to setup a printer. Has anyone else solved or made any progress on this?

DisplayLink external DVI/VGA display on SuperZaxxon firmware: Request for assistance

Yes. I tried adding a display section to the DL section at the bottom and specifying 1024x768, but it seems that is ignored since dmesg still says 1280x768. I probably need to look at the X log and see what is going on.

    Stream browser

As the only thing in the repo close to what I was looking was radiotray, I tried that. While it is a useful app, it would be great to see a dynamic rather than a static browser and to have the browser decoupled from the player such that the browser could launch a player to play the stream. I am...

Efficient Agenda and Organizer for the Pandora ?

Thanks. If I can't find something on Angstrom, I will just run gmail, gcal, etc on Android. I already have them loaded. N-curses looks fine, but not worth the trouble of learning another app. I have Makagiga as it seemed to be the only RSS feed reader. I will check it out as well.

    Release Switch GUI: Openbox

Freamon, I like OB much better than XFCE. However, it is a bit of a pain to use with the displaylink adapter as there is no logout. I looked at the links with scripts in the thread, but they look pretty heavy in terms of dependencies. Any more thought to adding a logout option to OB? Thanks.

DisplayLink external DVI/VGA display on SuperZaxxon firmware: Request for assistance

OK, Much progress. There were a few confusing things. I was using Openbox which doesn't have a logout feature. I switched to XFCE and logged out and I got the login screen on my external monitor. I couldn't login. I found out that it was because I use a character in my password that is not...

DisplayLink external DVI/VGA display on SuperZaxxon firmware: Request for assistance

When I get the green screen and reboot, the USB host does not seem to activate following the reboot. The light on the DL adapter does not come on telling me it is getting power. I either get a black screen on my P and my external monitor or the P finishes booting to my desktop with a black...

DisplayLink external DVI/VGA display on SuperZaxxon firmware: Request for assistance

Tried a different monitor connected via HDMI that I knew could handle the resolution, but same green screen. I connected to my original monitor via DVI and also tried VGA. Continuing to try things, still looking for help.

DisplayLink external DVI/VGA display on SuperZaxxon firmware: Request for assistance

I seem to be in the same shape as hmc. I am running the latest SZ. I swapped in the displaylink xorg.conf. I rebooted and have tried a couple of options plugging my Diamond displaylink adapter. I am connected to my TV/Monitor via DVI. I have tried connecting the DL device direct to the A/B...

    Improving the flash experience

Great call! Puffin worked like a champ. It was faster and rendered the whole page rather than top and side sliders. USTVNow is looking good at low res. A little hesitation, but no buffering. It went a little wonky when I tried to go full screen, but it did work. A vast improvement over my other...

    Stream browser

I didn't want to grave dig and pull up an old thread, but is there a stream browser (icecast, shoutcast, etc.) that will allow you to open the stream in Deadbeef? I tried using FF and setting DB to open files of type m3u, but no joy. I've previously used streamtuner (now streamtuner2) on linux...

    Improving the flash experience

Well, now that I have my P, I tried this. No joy so far having tried FF under Angstrom and the default browser in Android.

    Port Requests

An alternative would be Everpad https://github.com/nvbn/everpad which is actually an Evernote client written for linux. I've loaded Evernote via Android, but would prefer a client for Angstrom. The web version works, but a native client would be great.

How to install Android on your Pandora

Thanks. WIth multiple posts and about 50 pages of information, it is a little hard to find this unless you know what you are looking for. Would be really nice to get it collected into the wiki. I edited the udev information and rebooted. Made a significant difference in Netflix. It started a...

How to install Android on your Pandora

You are probably right. My thought was that in terms of app availability, JB is the target most developers are righting to, not several generations back.

How do you do that? I did not see that information in either of the threads.

How to install Android on your Pandora

Having read through notaz's thread and this one, there is discussion of the page file and swap. I got through the initial steps and installed Netflix through marketplace. Performance was terrible on my 1Ghz unit. I selected a 512MB page file size during the setup. I haven't done anything with...
