For Caanoo there won't be touchscreen support. But I plan to port the game for Android and possibly iOS later which will require touch support.

Here's the title screen. The grass in the background is animated, waving in the wind.

    Caanoo Korean Versiyon?

There only exists Korean versions as far as I know. Or do you mean the software language? If so, then it's software related.

I guess you are right, though I often associate the term "homebrew" with "open-source" and "free". Anyway, back on-topic.

Thanks for the comments. It's always nice with some input and feedback. I guess this topic would fit better in Developer's corner as it's a commercial game and not "home-brew" per se. Maybe it would get more views there?

    Riot Tag-Team Coding Competition

I see where you are coming from and I didn't consider that point. I was thinking more in the lines of minor tweaks and additions, not any major additional mechanics or systems, then a extension wouldn't hurt.

    Riot Tag-Team Coding Competition

I am all for extending it. I could use an extra week or so to make some fine tuning. Am gonna start working on the first boss for my game (coding and sprites), then I'm pretty much done with my demo.

No problem :) I've been working on a bunch of 3d games over the years in low-end 3d engines so I have dealt with the problem myself many times.

You shouldn't keep polygons too close together despite the z-buffer being good or not. For overlays and stuff like that you should try to keep them a few units away from the surface it should be covering. Generally it can help to adjust the camera's min range to rid of the flickering of polygons...

Just wanted to say that the demo is almost completed. Perhaps 1-2 weeks more, just in time barely for the competition.

Yeah, the gothic castle song was just a temporary tune to set the right mood and foundation for what's to come :) I'm sure Pontus can do much better.
