    Neo Geo Problem

In order to get the missing roms, use the same neogeo.zip that Mame2x/Mame4all/Fba2x. Unzip in the roms directory and no renaming needed. If you use neogeo.zip from NeoRageX (a popular Windows PC emulator), then you have to rename as bboyneko says.

    Kirby?!?!

It works on PocketSnes, but only in the SA1 special version (use this version only for SA1 games). Unfortunately, It is really slow without speedhacks, under 10FPS. These speedhacks are the very same that in the PSP emulator, and I don't know if someone published them during the last months...

    Gp2x-f200 Usb Host Issues

(this message is only assumptions based on my experiences, please be careful) You do not need the MAX631, since the F200 (and the last models of the F100, but the wiki administrators didn't let me to write that) outputs 5V through its pin 21. 5V, but only 500mA. Be careful with that and the USB...

    Joystick Replacement

What does "broken" means? 1.- The plastic cap: you can buy a plastic replacement or make a new one with epoxy and a piece of the flexible tube of a "Bic" pen. If it is rounded works even better than the original cap. (example) 2.- The axe went off the basement. That means that the axe is...

Autorun Usb Host & Load Joydev On F200 Boot

Actually, some are textual Bash scripts and the others binary ARM code :) Utilities have a .gpu suffix and games are .gpe files, but this is only a convention for the Gp2x. The suffix is not important at all, it is only used to filter files in the different sections of the default Gp2x menu. In...

Sega Cd Game With Picodrive Have Sound Problem

Did you try to change the clock frequency? As I recall, CD games usually need at least 200MHz.

How Soon Could We Get Gps?

There is no problem with drivers. I know nothing about the Pandora, but since typical GPS units use only serial communications I'm absolutely sure that the Pandora can use GPS out of the box. In fact, the Gp2x can without installing anything special, you know. The tricky things are a nice...

    Installation Cd

If the settings->usb->sd didn't work, maybe you have an "old" PC with a USB 1.0 port. My gp2x never worked on a USB 1.0. If your PC has several USB ports, try another port or consider buying an external card reader (very advisable and only a few bucks) Or maybe your USB cable is broken. You'll...

    Installation Cd

Have you got an SD memory card plugged in the Gp2x?

    Stppc2x Beta5

I found the problem with rectangles: stppcgui.data still points to rect, not rectangles. Changed and the game works ok, of course. Weird, I though I changed all files with the new ones...

    Installation Cd

sotv, there is no installation CD since you don't need any special driver for the Gp2x. Just plug in a USB port of your computer, select settings->usb->sd in your Gp2x and the computer will detect a new external storage device. Drag and drop emulators and games and enjoy. Anyway, having a card...

Total Noob Took The Plunge And Needs Some Advice

Neogeo.zip: unzipped in gngeo, zipped in mame2x, mame4all or fba2x. cps2emu is not a Neogeo emulator and does not use this file. Keep in mind that the last version of gngeo uses universal bios (unibios) as the default bios, and then you'll need to unzip unibios.zip in the roms directory (only gngeo)

Total Noob Took The Plunge And Needs Some Advice

Mame is great for many games, but not for neogeo nor cps2. There are dedicated emulators for these games that work great (gngeo and cps2emu) and fba2x is an emulator like mame but specialized exactly on that games. - mame4all: runs neogeo and cps2 too slow. You NEED neogeo.zip in the roms...

    Stppc2x Beta5

I have been playing intensively these games during my last train travel. Man, I love these games. Thanks for your hard work :) Most games work just great, but I usually change the default configuration to a harder mode or larger table. Experience, I suppose :) Little comments for some games: -...

    The Gp2x Is Dead!

Well, they seem to enforce some rumours. This is an announcement from Anarchy, the Spanish Gp2x vendor: http://www.gp32spain.com/foros/showpost.ph...mp;postcount=92 Quick translation: - GPH ceased production of Gp2x - There is a new console from GPH coming, but he cannot give more details...

    The Gp2x Is Dead!

Some days ago Craigix announced the end of the production of the Gp2x. It was an important announcement that was not confirmed by anyone appart from Craigix. There are insistent rumours that GPH is actually about to announce something bigger than the Gp2x and similar to the Pandora. There is...

    N64 On Pandora?

No, since Mupen uses dynamic recompilation to x86. Pandora has an ARM, so any application that needs a x86 won't work, even if it is open source (wine and mupen, for example) But this do not mean that N64 is not possible on Pandora, only that it will be much harder to do an emulator.

I Just Want To Dev For The Gp2x!

As fas as I know, there is not any virtual machine or emulator of the Gp2x on a PC. You have to test applications on a real Gp2x to check their performance. Fortunately, you can easily use a F100 Gp2x as a developer box throught USB. Telnet+SMB are the perfect tools for this task (see the...

Anyone Use Ags (adventure Game Studio)?

You need the source code to port any application to the Gp2x/Pandora. Even if they are for PC/Linux. AGS is a great system, but its author stated several times that he won't publish its source code. As a consequence AGS won't work neither on the Gp2x nor the Pandora.

I Just Want To Dev For The Gp2x!

'Makefile' First letter upper case :) QUOTE is there any sort of gp2x environtment or way i can test the app using only gp2x specifications such as the 200MHz clock and the 64MB RAM? If you use standard libreries such as SDL you can compile and run for your PC, and only compile for the Gp2x...
