So in the end they're an honest company doing business. Their only mistake is not researching OpenPandora before offering up units for sale. I'm sure this business model works for most other (especially Chinese) manufacturers, but not with OP.
I think you read my other post and forgot that I wrote it, right? :P
But more often than not, the source code is also provided to the manufacturer by the SoC firm. Unfortunately the manufacturer rarely ever does anything with it (Window do with their Android port from RockChip to some extent...
Android's not the answer if it's being implemented by one of these one-console-per-month manufacturers like JXD because they're not able/willing to do it well.
I wish someone would utilise the new JZ4770 from ingenic because it's a beast and would likely be very quickly hacked to run...
the development of the device probably won't have been solely down to yinlips. in china it's common for the chip manufacturer to supply the software port along with the chip. so yinlips may well have bought the whole bundle and pretty much only had to develop the case. this is probably the...
i did a clean install of HF6 before i put the machine to charge, and this morning it's as you say - somewhere between 90 and 100% charged so that's good. i've never seen the meter so high before. now i just need to get to the bottom of the charger issue. i don't have a psp unfortunately, maybe i...
this has been a problem since may 2010 when first received it, and tbh is the main reason it's been sat collecting dust for months. i've plugged and re-plugged and re-plugged the charger and finally managed to make the red light stay on so i guess it's charging but there's definitely something...
well mario kart is out on friday and i'm seriously considering grabbing one (£120 at sainsbury's) solely to play it! it's hard to justify but i do love that damn game...
i don't think i've ever had a fully charged pandora, i'd need to wait around for about 14 hours at the rate it seems to charge.
but my question is, what indicator is there that the machine is charging? sometimes a solid red light turns on at the right hand side, other times it blinks and other...
You can order off Taobao via Zarmark. But I don't know if the listsings are pre-orders. I suspect they might be because there are no videos of it in action on Youku yet.
let's be honest, the official OS is hardly optimised for the pandora form factor either. nubs as a mouse is terrible. touchscreen as a mouse is also terrible in the clam shell form factor. windows don't scale properly so they hang off the screen, making the thing crash is as easy as clicking too...
first i heard of this thing today, and i'd just like to say thanks to milkshake and whoever else worked on it because it already works a thousand times better than craigs attempt and even the messy but functional repo that ed runs.
i really think we need one place for all pandora software...
I've just dusted off my Pandora since it finally looks like PS1 and N64 emulation is picking up pace! Plus if my #350 pandora is faulty then it needs to find its fault before May since the warranty runs out then...
I remember it took ages to charge, but it really does take bloody ages. Like 4...
i honestly don't know why you lot bother ripping your own games. go to a retro gaming site and get the ones you want ripped in whichever format you desire, with log files to tell you how they did it and the accuracy of each rip (if you really must know). ripping your own is just pointless when...
it doesnt really matter, you can put the emulator version in it.
i made it when i thought psx4pandora would be the main emulator, but the aim is the same - a list of the psx games that work on pandora and with what emulator version. 1 spreadsheet will suffice perfectly well for that don't you think?
