iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

No, your childish trolling and smug insults are obvious and boring, just as your latest couple of responses are.  Honestly, you're the most pathetic type of troll. No creativity, nothing clever, nothing to raise a chuckle. No imagination whatsoever. Anyway, there's no reasoning with people...

Openpandora Ltd (UK) Struck off email

The NSA contributed to several open standards which were implemented in many open source and closed source projects. The openness of the code is not the issue. I like this ^^ I write both open and closed source software for commercial and personal purposes and I agree, the differences between...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

^ That's true, he didn't say directly say he got the money from Craig, but it was clear Craig would be nominating the bank account to return the money, which means Craig must have been responsible for it and almost certainly transferred it to ED. Under those circumstances it would be illegal for...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

If Craig was given the funds by Link to pay for production, then Craig gave them to ED then ED can only give them back to Craig. And that seems to be what he's saying: http://boards.openpandora.org/topic/14882-theyre-throwing-in-the-towel/?view=findpost&p=288865/URL]

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I certainly hope so. Although a comment by MWeston suggests both he and Link weren't able to get a straight answer from Craig regarding the cases, swivel clamps, keymats etc which implies he was in charge of delivering them and potentially had control of funds for them. The molds for cases were...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

The latest comment by James Kendle on Kickstarter is saying that  "Craig has also sent out an email saying that the OP LTD (UK) is being struck off". Looks like he's winding things up.

@ZXDunny, you're as obvious as you are boring. Go prop up your ego elsewhere. @Moxie: While I get (and respect) your motivation, I can't say I really understand your continual concern about ED being sued because of our comments here. ED seems pretty careful with what he does and doesn't say, I...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

As does my assessment of you, a person who came here for the sole purpose of feeling smug and insulting people.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

Unless I'm mistaken, the ICP1 had it's fair share of issues and was also rescued to a greater or lesser degree by others. The ICP2 is the first time Craig has been left to sink or swim on his own. But I can't remember where or exactly what I read, so don't quote me on that.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

You're absolutely right. I imagine it's because people get pissed off and unfortunately the person who deserves to bare the brunt of the anger is off hiding somewhere with no repercussions whatsoever.  Nope, ZXDunny was calling everyone who backed the ICP2 a fool, you can't really read it any...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

Coming here for the sole purpose of insulting people serves no purpose other than to demonstrate what kind of a person you are. I suspect, like most smug jackasses on the internet, your attitude quickly dissipates when confronting people in person.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

Everything said by the others on the project points to Craig failing to do the majority of the tasks that he was responsible for, then lying to everyone to cover his ass. As Craig is refusing to come forward and answer any questions, just as he has done all throughout this project, it's a pretty...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

You don't want your money back? What about the $45,000.00 Craig was supposed to spend on molds for the cases that were never made?  As for the other parts, none were ever built. No cases, no keymats, no swivel clamps. Just 100 boards with broken LEDs. We paid for all that, so if it wasn't...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I agree. If nothing else comes of this fiasco at least it can serve as a warning to anyone considering getting involved with Craig J V Rothwell again, either as a business partner, backer or investor.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

And there's why we never saw a single case or swivel clamp. My bet - the molds were never made and the money for making them is gone.  Craig is a liar and a fraud, plain and simple. Anyone who believes anything else at this point is a fool.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I wonder how much money Craig has creamed off the top. He bought himself a 3D printer, supposedly for prototyping but it was never used for that. I doubt he'll be selling that to refund anyone.

I'm glad you won't be screwed for any more than the nubs but I doubt a single penny you put in that account will ever make it back to the backers.

New email from craig, watch out

I'm afraid it's you who's missing the point. There is nothing anyone has suggested here that's illegal or falls under the category of fraud or tortious interference. And I think you'd be hard pressed to incur one, let alone "a half dozen civil infrations" from trying to renegotiate an ebay...

New email from craig, watch out

The problem here is, despite the law being on the side of those who have been screwed and despite there being a simple and free method for those who reside in the UK to have this settled in court, none are willing to do anything. Craig gets away with this sort of behavior because people let him...

Has anyone, at all, managed to get ahold of Craig?

Actually, you could be right, my bad. Jacquelyn and Debs are almost certainly Mother/Daughter but there's nothing to indicate they're Craig's family. Though I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. But the point is, as WizardStan said, they are just bystanders and shouldn't be dragged...
