    Usb network/folder sharing

Concerning network setup, you can try these instructions. Personally, I execute the following script: sudo rmmod g_cdc sudo modprobe g_ether sudo ifconfig usb0 down sudo ifconfig usb0 10.0.1.3 netmask 255.255.255.0 up To share files, you'd have to set up a file server either on your PC or on...

There's an air bubble under the screen in my 1ghz unit... Is it possible to fix somehow?

Well, the only two options are 1) to pierce the screen to let the air out and 2) to detach the film, let the air out and put the film back. No idea which one is the best though. A photo would be nice.

    USB stick not accessible

Are there any messages in dmesg when you plug the stick in?

    Release ZGV

Quite frankly I don't feel like discovering another graphics format and combine libraries I'm not familiar with with 10-year-old code. I believe there is a reason why ZGV is not in active development anymore.

Emulator brings x86 Linux apps to ARM devices

Installers are not the most portable software there is. Try to install the game on a windows machine (or maybe on a linux PC under wine), and then copy the installation directory to the pandora

Emulator brings x86 Linux apps to ARM devices

Nope. The sound works when I run the very same hmm3 executable on a real intel machine with debian, but not on exagear.

    Port Requests

It's worse than that - Pixel Dundeon uses a recent version of libgdx, which requires many OpenGL functions not supported by glshim. Maybe some day I will succeed to build libgdx with GLES backend which is supported for android build

Emulator brings x86 Linux apps to ARM devices

Yes, but I have recently found a way to make sudo work inside exagear. I will post new install scripts sometime next week.

Emulator brings x86 Linux apps to ARM devices

AFAIK you can just remove the image directory and start over. And I think it's time I make a PND of those install scripts, so that the latest version is always accessible and people don't miss updates. (I have a working sudo in exagear now, for example)

    TV out cable mplayer problem

I believe I have made the ofbset command part of my video file association. I also increase the screen gamma (/usr/pandora/scripts/op_gamma.sh 2.0) before playing the video and reset it back to normal once mplayer quits. The same commands are in my pre/post scripts for smplayer2 PND, but I don't...

    Release truecrypt port

Actually, I just have compiled VeraCrypt and I'm quite displeased with it. First, it's not actually woking - the decryption process seems to go well, but some later code throws an exception, so the volume is never actually mounted. Perhaps that's just me not configuring wxWidgets right, so I...

    Port Requests

Cdevtools doesn't seem to be able to build this one, the QT library in the firmware is too old. That's what cmake tells me, anyway.

Can you increase the virtual resolution of the screen?

For reference, I have created a git repo to keep track of my modifications.

Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu edition - flash sales

Did anybody get one of these yet? Getting Quad Core Cortex A7 right now is tempting, but no keyboard, no precise mouse input... That makes me sad

    TV out cable mplayer problem

Are you saying you have a video which mplayer played nicely before, or did you manage to find a new video which mplayer can't handle? BTW, you can always associate file types to PNDs if you like Thunar so much.

    Release truecrypt port

At long last the version 7.1a made it to the repo, just when we should be migrating to VeraCrypt ;)

Need some help with pre and post scripts.

I believe the qjoypad being restarted was an unsedirable side-effect. The second suggestion is spot on target though. Manually unmounting the directory from post script would probably not be possible at all, because pnd_run process (the one which executes your script) would still own that...

Need some help with pre and post scripts.

There's someting else with this post script of yours: PNDs using it will never be dismounted from /mnt/utmp. I don't have time to investigate the exact cause, but I bet it is related to the fact that you start one PND from inside of another, and that PND (i.e. qjoypad) keeps running when the...

Need some help with pre and post scripts.

The root cause: when you kill qjoypad from a startup process of another PND, the system gets confused and executes the post script of your PND as a post script for qjoypad. The quick fix: #!/bin/bash if [ ! "$EXENAME" = "../../../usr/bin/links" ]; then # Stop Qjoypad killall qjoypad...
