Apparently gitlab defaults projects to private, sorry about that, I am still getting used to gitlab since migrating from github. I have set it to public and opened up permissions. Let me know if there is any trouble seeing the project now.
Nope, just moved it to gitlab. Progress is difficult during the holidays but I am still working on it. Three end boss fights to go and some credits and it should be ready for a beta release. :)

I think that did it! Thank you @M-HT it is now playing on the Pandora again. :D
I have posted the link to the current alpha build. It has the binary already in it and ready to go. You should be able to just unzip the folder and navigate to the bin folder. From there...
Yeah, I will have to add some aids. I didn't even think about that since it's just been me working on the project.
It uses SDL 1.2 for the basics, SDL_mixer and libmad for audio. If there were any issues compiling missing those libraries probably caused it.
The game compiles on my pandora and...
I'm a dick and took forever to get back to this project but it's going again.

It's playable.. but I can't get it to work on the Pandora anymore. The player stopped rendering and the health doesn't work. I think it something to do with the gcc...
I think I am only using the SDL 1 library. I am not sure if I will run into conflicts or not. I don't mind working with an older gcc as long as it works. I will know more later what runs and what doesn't when I have access to my Pandora again.
The cross compilation worked for a simple "hello...
I am not wanting to compile on the Pandora directly, I had it setup before on my older laptop to cross-compile and that was a nice setup. @ptitSeb I am trying that script now, thanks for posting it. @TomB I will try the crosstool setup next if the script doesn't work out.
I will keep everyone...
I am trying to setup a cross-compiler on my debian installation. I tried a couple of methods form the Pandora wiki but they seem to lead to broken links and dead ends.
Is there a way to get the tutorials updated?
If not I could use some guidance in how to grab CodeBench and use that. I'm not...
I would like to start a community app. I do see its potential. Even more though I want to finish Legend of Pandora. After that is done I will most likely move on to another game.
Targeted ads don't have to be evil. If it is a game client it knows what games you play and can advertise other games you might like that it can offer, free or non-free.
The most important thing, however, is making it easy to download and play games on the device itself. I see there is already...
The Pandora got me interested in game dev again. Maybe the price is high, but I still see it as an avenue worthy of consideration.
I don't expect Dragonbox community software to appear in a day. I just see other successful companies concentrating on that and feel if Dragonbox went in that...
It's a little silly to say that the Pyra/Pandora could not interest anyone in education considering the population of this planet. Appeal to one magazine like Make or something like ThinkGeek.com with a portable homebrew kit with book and you would sell something. How many you would sell is yet...
I may be a tad late to this thread but I do have a couple of ideas that would make Pyra money.
1. Appeal to education. There are currently no boxed "Be a game developer!" kits that I'm aware of. RedHat Linux made money by selling a book and support. Pyra could do the same. I paid $600+ to get...
Thanks for this, I am taking note so I remember to really learn git. It's been a pleasure to use so far but I know absolutely nothing about it. My plan is that before I work on the code for LoP again that I will study git and get the version number set. After I'm confident in the basic usage...
Wow, this is awesome. I will check everything out and try to build it tomorrow. Thanks for the support! It's humbles me to see how much goes into a game. How many things I still have to learn. At first I think I'm awesome for installing Linux... then learning some c code... then my first sdl...
