    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

Here are the results of my testing. All of this is with r4, 800mhz, and all releases are US / NTSC unless otherwise noted. The following games ran fine for a smoke-test (30s of gameplay): Centipede Colony Wars (the original) Disruptor Frogger (1) Micro Machines V3 Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness...

    CHD games in MAME .106?

Even if it did support CHD files, the Pandora isn't powerful enough to run the Vapor TRX emulator.

Descent 1 and 2: What files do I use?

Very helpful! Protip: For those of us who bought Descent from GOG, note that the filenames must be lowercase. The GOG installer installed all those files in uppercase, and I had to fix them by hand before D*X-Rebirth would work on the Pandora. (Which is a bit surprising, considering that...

Release Beta Test: Upcoming (HF5) Firmware Image

VNC is software that lets you control one computer from another computer. With VNC, you can have a window open on computer A that's showing you the screen of computer B--and you can move the mouse and click and type there, just as if you were in front of computer B. In this example, computer A...

A game for each letter of the alphabet!

Pengo edit: whoops, forgot to refresh before posting. I guess I go to Jail, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

So what are you playing now?

Spyro 2 with ReARMed. I clocked it to 800mHz, and turned off the music (it was stuttery anyway) and it still lags now and then. But most of the time it is deliciously playable!

Any gamma settings to reduce ghosting?

They're only visible when Mario is facing away from them.

Can we open the pandora to fix these button issues? warranty question

I just checked two things. The eBay sale says my refurbished Pandora comes with a "12-month warranty". In the Quick Start Guide booklet, under Precautions (last inside page), says "Disassembling the Pandora will void the warranty." I'm having a shoulder button problem too, but I suspect...

    Lovely pandora! With slight flaw...

I bet you're talking about the standard Pandora case design flaw. Even when fully closed the left corner is a little open. Yeah, everybody has that. So at least you've got company ;)

    Manic Digger (Minecraft clone)

Ooh! Maybe that means we could get the Puppygames games too!

    Refurbished Pandoras on Ebay

I bet that's because it was a "private" auction. I'm not sure where it was posted, but it didn't get around much. Also, most folks interested in a Pandora have probably already put their money down.

Just making sure I understand--you're talking about buying connectors for the combined video & audio out / serial ports port on the back?

Pandora When developement is finished how much will the pandora cost?

Scoff all you like, infidel! But I tell you with utter certainty that the Pandora is more powerful than the 60s/70s era mainframe computer in your photo. In every regard--ops/sec, I/O bandwidth, core memory, storage. And, I hasten to add, at a fraction of the price!

    Lovely pandora! With slight flaw...

I'm with Sigma; the left shoulder button on my (recent eBay refurb) Pandora barely works. It feels pushed-in all the time, like it has no spring pushing it out. It doesn't register if you press it on the corner, but you can get it to register if you press it on the other side nearer to the...

Hackers obtain PS3 private cryptography key due to epic programming fail?

I'm sure they proof-read and tested their code. The problem is, a security system is only as strong as the weakest part. And if hackers can compromise any part of a security system, odds are pretty good they can crack it wide open. Sony / Nintendo / Microsoft programmers are good programmers...

One day late but more goodies instead

What's the status of the LCD cables? Did you go with that new company, or are you going to use the old cables for these boards?
