Here are the results of my testing. All of this is with r4, 800mhz, and all releases are US / NTSC unless otherwise noted.
The following games ran fine for a smoke-test (30s of gameplay):
Centipede
Colony Wars (the original)
Disruptor
Frogger (1)
Micro Machines V3
Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness...
Very helpful!
Protip: For those of us who bought Descent from GOG, note that the filenames must be lowercase. The GOG installer installed all those files in uppercase, and I had to fix them by hand before D*X-Rebirth would work on the Pandora. (Which is a bit surprising, considering that...
VNC is software that lets you control one computer from another computer. With VNC, you can have a window open on computer A that's showing you the screen of computer B--and you can move the mouse and click and type there, just as if you were in front of computer B. In this example, computer A...
Spyro 2 with ReARMed. I clocked it to 800mHz, and turned off the music (it was stuttery anyway) and it still lags now and then. But most of the time it is deliciously playable!

Scoff all you like, infidel! But I tell you with utter certainty that the Pandora is more powerful than the 60s/70s era mainframe computer in your photo. In every regard--ops/sec, I/O bandwidth, core memory, storage. And, I hasten to add, at a fraction of the price!
I'm with Sigma; the left shoulder button on my (recent eBay refurb) Pandora barely works. It feels pushed-in all the time, like it has no spring pushing it out. It doesn't register if you press it on the corner, but you can get it to register if you press it on the other side nearer to the...
In case you're not tired of discussing tortured descendants of the Commodore 64, there's always the villainous PC64:

I'm sure they proof-read and tested their code. The problem is, a security system is only as strong as the weakest part. And if hackers can compromise any part of a security system, odds are pretty good they can crack it wide open. Sony / Nintendo / Microsoft programmers are good programmers...
