Yes, but not really the point. How can they be perceived as a professional company if all sites they host go down? Think about it.
If the forum, the official site, and any others ED hosts goes down. What will that look like to the outside world? It's not about how we would react... this...
Yes, but that doesn't help the forums (which need to be dynamic).
Edit: And yes he hosts the forums.
Plus, I was talking about his service provider. If his server gets overloaded, all his sites go down, static or not. Everything goes down.
Holly crap. this is good news. Many of us thought both were dead... and a while ago there were posts that they were competing standards.
To have them both alive and the authors working together, is a great thing.
I partially agree. Some places also do a response test directly on the board itself. e.g. electrodes on a test bed that contact many places and test the responses of the circuitry. I can't comment if this manufacturing plant does that with these boards. When I was at the Toshiba plant, it...
Simply put. If the emulator doesn't recognize a joystick and the OS does. It can be mapped to any of the controls. So long as someone is willing to make it easy.
There was some talk of resellers having interest in the past. Also some talk of the second batch being pre-order only.
I would say it depends on the demand once the first batch gets out there. There is a lead time for the seconds patch (hence the pre-order possibility, they don't want to...
Damn, WizardStan would owe me a buck if I took his bet. Simply put though... after seeing your battery cover design, it would be foolish to *not* think you designed the stickers too.
I hope the adhesive is enough to make it a permanent sticker and not something that peals off easily.
See, that's the whole point. They *aren't* the same processor, so a MHz comparison is useless. You're example is exactly why it's a bad idea to get into it unless you want a whole new pain in the ass to contend with.
Edit: Anyway, at least read the link I provided.
Pandora-PSP
Please, please, please, don't bring up Mhz... you'll start a whole new pain of a topic that you don't want. Trust me. As for PSP, it might be possible, see here. Pandora-PSP-Blog
That's interesting. I understand DaveC did the heavy lifting... but I thought OpenPandora Ltd. *owned* the design. It's nice that you leave the descision up to the one who did the work.
As for future FCC possibilities. It is clear that ED is interested and Craig has a strong negative interest. I can't see how it would be profitable for ED to cover the cost himself.
Confirmed: ED doesn't know that the sticker says.
(Nah, I'd give 20:1 odds he was the one who designed it.) Anyway, you can actually make out a lot if you look hard enough.
I'm not sure why everyone is quoting internet speeds in this thread. If the only reason for WiFi was internet, they would never have made 802.11g or 802.11N for that matter. A lot of us use our internal network WiFi so our laptops and portable devices can access our network without wires...
