[Poll] What's the sex of your Pandora ? O_o

My Pandora's sex is "Consistently regular". :D

    Nintendo Switch

A company as large as Nintendo would fail massively if run by "actual gamers". Fan service is all well and good, but they need to capture new customers (i.e people who now play mobile phone or tablet games, especially the ones who are growing up not playing or even knowing about Nintendo IPs).

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Harvey Birdman : Attorney At Law (PSP) - Like an interactive version of the show or a poor man's Ace Attorney. Either way, it's an interesting distraction. Actually playing on a real PSP-1000 model.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Limbo on the PS Vita. Quite liking it. I get the style over substance and try-die-and-retry gameplay complaints but it's still quite fun. The puzzles are good.

Hah, I like your style, hacking away at the configs to workaround some issues. Cool stuff!

Sensible Software 1986 1999: Book Review

Eh? It was Kickstarter'd and whilst it has slipped a bit, we should see it in the New year sometime (I'm guessing Feb or March).

Worth picking up a Playstation TV?

Personally, and YMMV - I think it's great (I have two!), even for the 69 quid I paid originally for the first one. If you want to play your PS4 (doesn't work for PS3 - wish it would though) on another TV in the house and your networking is good (rock-solid stable wireless, wired or good...

The PC World Is A Cluster Duck

I can't believe anyone would prefer to eat some mixed up goo purporting to be "all the body needs", because "it takes the guesswork out of grocery shopping". Jayzus! Exploring flavour and texture and how it combines together using various types of heat application (steaming, boiling water...

    The Sega dreamcast.

Just to let you know, I finally got a GD-EMU. Then found out it doesn't work in my Jap launch machine (a VA0). Lucky I have a boxed PAL VA1  machine it will work in (picked up in the Dreamcast end-of-life firesale at HMV on Oxford Street for 20 quid)!

    Release [Alpha] UAE4ARM

I've read that this is a tricky thing to emulate correctly as the Amiga mouse pointer uses relative positioning rather than absolute, which makes accurate pointing on scaled screens tricky.

The What Music Are You Listening To Thread

Level 42 - Leaving me now. Don't know why, haven't listened to that stuff for years. Fancied some 80s syrupy-man-balladeering. Do still like some of their stuff, no matter how unfashionable that might be.

Maybe they thought that you were visiting a site masquerading as a hooka/er? :)

Yeah, I'm somewhere in Sept too, just going after Naoto across "the other side".

    GPD XD

I'm sorely tempted to get one of these for portable Reicast (Shenmue and Powerstone on the go!). Seen some videos on Youtube and it looks very polished for a cheap-ish Chinese device.

Why not have a Kickstarter to get a price drop?

How would that work? So people purchasing the device would pay more to get a lower RRP? How is the price lowered for them? Alternatively, people who have no interest in buying a Pyra, fund the Kikcstarter, so that other people get a cheaper Pyra? Is that what you think will happen? Benevolent...

Sega Saturn more powerful than the psx?

Sega Rally 2? I rest my case.... :P

Sega Saturn more powerful than the psx?

It's off-topic but the Dreamcast had hardware texture compression which helped massively and also the PowerVR righted some of the wrongs of the PSX and Saturn, in that transparencies were not a massive performance hit. Dreamcast could do several multiple layers of transparency without slowdown...

Sega Saturn more powerful than the psx?

I always quite fancied Burning Rangers - looked good to me.
