3d printers are all the rage...

Auto leveling is your very best friend. I don't have autoleveling, and it's a pain to level the bed every so often. Also, since the prusa has multiple points that it measures across the bed, you don't have to worry as much about the bed warping due to heat. On my printer, the only way for me to...

    That took a while...

Regular wood would have a tendency to warp, but there is something call stabilized wood. It's wood that's had resin pumped into all of it's pores, and it basically turns into plastic. You can also dye it to get some really cool colours and patterns. It may be possible to grab the files for the...

    Farewell (For now)

Well, first off, I'd like to say I've quite enjoyed being a part of this forum, I learned a lot being a lurker, and a lot being a moderator (even though I didn't do much as a moderator) As some of you may have guessed from my signature, I am a member of the LDS church, and I have decided to go...

Looking for an article on audio

I've been looking for this article for a while, and have yet to find it. I vaguely remember it being somewhere on these boards, but for the life of me, I can't find it. I remember it being a couple pages long, the website had a light blue background, and the person who wrote it went into great...

Screen Issues (split from Do I need a new LCD cable?)

Then my uneducated guess is the clock signal is screwed up somehow. and if it were completely broken you should have nothing on the screen, so it's either a bad connection (loose connector), or some part of the hardware that generates the clock signal is really screwed up. My solution would be...

    Tilted Chip t-shirt design

I like the four chips in a row design, although, with binky's design, the only thing that bugs me is that the pyra chip doesn't have the pin 1 identifier dot.

Screen Issues (split from Do I need a new LCD cable?)

do the anomalies change at all when you move the hinge in different positions? and if that's not it, to me it kinda looks like a clock signal is screwed up (although I have no clue).

    The Communication Cube

So in wandering wikipedia today, it seems like a making a maglev from a linear induction motor shouldn't be too hard for a hobbyist.
