Many thanks for continuing to support the humble GP2X, it's still a great system for emu's and homebrew. I have no plans to buy any other open source handheld and will be using the GP2X for a long time, just hope it doesn't break. Is the sms emulation as good as Alexkidd?
What is the point of starting production of a system with a major defect if they don't make any improvements? GPH should make the necessary improvements like replacing those cheap OLED screens which have caused pixel plague problems with a better quality ones even it means making them a bit more...
Just put the GP2X on ebay you'll get about 40-50 pounds at least or give it to a dev so that the community can benefit, software has really slowed down for the GP2X since the Wiz was released.
I think someone should do a wiz screen sticky covering properties of oled screens and give advice on avoiding issues like screen burns and pixel plague as quite a few members have had these problems.
