    Keyboard layouts can be changed on the fly using either of ibus/scim/fcitx. All are in Debian repo and support many different languages and layout. I have used ibus and scim for indic languages for my daily requirements.

    That keymap image looks outdated, there is pause in place of user key, and there are two brightness keys in place of one.

    Regarding point 3 default Debian comes with python which shall work fine unless there is very specific need for anaconda or some other python environment.

    If I remember it correctly, when I ordered sometime in Feb or March 2019, total orders were 1104. Many orders were cancelled after that so where I might be now, in 2nd batch or 3rd batch ?

    Most USB cameras today are designed as webcams for use with desktop. I couldn't find any small enough to be suitable for Pyra.

    can PIQ0 work with powerbank when battery is dead ? is battery replaceable ? I guess anybeam depends totally on power bank, which may be good thing for longevity as you can simply replace power bank when needed.

    ED initially planned to assemble Pyra himself with help of volunteers, but later he said that first 200 will be produced at GC. Does that mean plan of self production is scraped. If he wants to assemble himself than there is no point in training GC people.

    For just quick check , " xclip -o | aspell -a" but it will not do auto-correction or copy back corrected spelling to clipboard like PCXT's version. However this may possible using some awk/sed magic and pipe back corrected spelling to clipboard using "xclip -i"
