More like transparency of Mud.
How long before they clued us in to the Credit Card banking issues? How about the generic two months away response since 2008. I remember posts saying a lack of funds/money would not be a hindrance to this project. But if they had the proper funds they could...
Well then I say your lucky, as I got a box full of various iPAQs models (over 30 of them) that can't hold a charge long enough to even boot up. A lot of these stopped holding a charge only after 4 years.
The zaurus could have a really low current draw (i.e. lower than Pandora) thus effects of internal resistance aren't as noticed due to battery getting old. I've seen certain batteries die within a year, to some that lasting +4 years pretty well, i.e. they were used in low current draw...
I remember reading post on the battery for the Pandora have already been made, i.e. labeled, contacts soldered, etc.. So I'm assuming they already bought all the batteries some time ago.
So as time progresses, the battery capacity will drop, hope they ship soon.
I aware of what MWeston said, I also have the same documentation, and it's not certified.
i.e. original discussion was here on it --> http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/48757-talk-with-a-real-fccce-certification-engineer
Are you talking about these forms from --> http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/48757-talk-with-a-real-fccce-certification-engineer/page__view__findpost__p__741945
FCC compliancy in this particular case, using the un-certified 802.11 module that the Pandora has, will end up needing a FCC...
Sure I can agree with that, but device legal stance would stay the same. If it gets noticed by FCC, they might stop/hold future imports from them going into the USA. (though odds of this are low.)
Well perhaps because I basing my information from their post(s), i.e.
from --> http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/51175-fccce-testing-passed/page__view__findpost__p__792309
From that post, unless I'm reading it wrong (craigix can be hard to understand in his posts) has decided not to...
Do the makers of Pandora believe they will ship soon?
I still don't see "OpenPandora Ltd." as a member on the SD Association list, without it Pandora should not run SD cards any faster than One-Bit SD mode i.e. very slow. If they do, they open themselves to having SD Association bring down...
Just to be clear, the statement given
is under the assumption that the Pandora will have working WiFi, will not have an FCC ID, and be sold in the USA.
Just read this thread, looks like someone is trying to pass the buck.
CE tests can (depending on the testing company) cover (i.e. encompass) all the FCC tests, but does it mean it's now FCC certified?
The answer is no, you need to pay for additional fees (i.e. paperwork) to use the existing...
