Release Mosh - the mobile shell

Hadn't heard of Mosh before today, it looks good. I'll test after work. Useful links: http://mosh.mit.edu/ http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=mosh.wb

    Ithic.com has first US repair

Honestly not sure whether I'm better off sending mine to the US or Europe for repair. Gosh being in Australia is annoying sometimes.

    Trashed NAND

And you even waited for a release that wouldn't trash your SD card. That's the worst luck ever.

Release If you used sebt3's MIDI installer, please try this

Thanks for taking a look guys. To test settings in Dune, you need to edit /midi/handheld/sounds.cfg (which is inside the Dune PND). Under Windows you can access it with PNDTools or 7zip beta 9.22. Edit as per first post, then save it to your opendune appdata folder using the same path, ie...

Will I get what I paid for?

As ED suggests, it sounds like you did your original order through his German store (order@openpandora.org), but you have put your upgrade request through Craig's UK store (openpandorasales@gmail.com). Obviously not your fault for not knowing this. Forget about the gmail address and let ED sort...

Proper Bounty Section on new Website?

Ok, so we're making the distinction between making something and releasing something. There is no argument that you hope for some appreciation and feedback when you release something. It's a real buzz actually, to see the download counter on the repo, a few ratings, some nice comments, maybe...

Proper Bounty Section on new Website?

I don't. I'm no dev, but I've released a few things. None of the above were a factor in the work I did. Part of my motivation was necessity (ie. something I wanted did not yet exist on the Pandora) and part of it was the personal satisfaction of expanding my knowledge in order to create...

Release Rebirth Entry - OpenDune 0.7

Regarding MIDI choppiness, has anyone tried these optimisations? http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php?/topic/8132-if-you-used-sebt3s-midi-installer-please-try-this/ They're very effective, but due to lack of feedback I haven't asked Seb to update them in his package.

[SOLVED] Charger plug doesn't fit charger hole

The chargers being shipped at the moment use a little in-line adapter to convert the plug size. Looks like yours didn't make it into the box. One of the guys should be able to send one out to you.

A thought on power issues over in the support forum

I can say that the battery in my silver unit is a tighter fit than either of the black units I've had. I know this feel can vary even between black Pandoras, so that's not really enough data to draw any conclusions. You are barking up an interesting tree though.

What's it officially going to be called?

No sillikins. You know the Pandora model number on the sticker? All first batchers are 1001, the 512MB units are 1002.

    1001, 1002

It's true that I try to look after my girls :D But the black one is in a sorrier state than you can see in that pic. There's a nasty hole in the back of the hinge, and pretty bad PTOD. Now that I have a new one, I can finally play all the Rebirth entries as they were meant to look, and send...

    PandoraPress.net: abandoned?

So. Foxblock and I have been talking about this via email, and we've been preparing a joint statement. Or more accurately, Foxblock prepared a nice statement and was waiting to hear back from me to fill in some blanks before he started a thread. Our email conversations move at glacier pace, and...

    Faster delivery/upgrade - Craig's orders

I emailed him via his website about a month ago ( http://www.muddymonkey.co.uk/ ) but got no response. :( Maybe he's moved on to more exciting things, like writing payroll software.
