Should I have received my final order eMail already?

If I did not like the Pyra, I would not support it for years. I am just not shy of saying how about I feel about the current situation. 1715595253 It is not that I do not own cables. It is that I do not want to carry around an adapter just for the Pyra. One more thing that really annoys me...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

    1. Is affordable The only ones fulfilling all the other requirements is probably Global Components and that would be stupidly expensive 2. Overworked. Probably not. He just has enough to do with his main business that is profitable so that he can not spend a day per week to build Pyras. The...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Well, it is not a priority project any more. However now that I work on it again, it is more of a priority again than it was the last couple of years. Consider that ED has just one employee who does the shipping and some other stuff for him, signing a contract with me that is dedicated to Pyra...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Here is some update: - We are out of black housings. I cleaned some so they can be painted and that will happen next month probably - I have nothing to do at the moment and am waiting for my professors so to clarify if I start as a PhD student or not. Until then I will have a new contract with...

    A possible PND-system replacement

Actually there is a daemon that adds AppImages to your start menu. I do not really see the need for an appdata folder any more. For ROMS and files, they should not be in specific appdata folders anyways but on universal places where different emulators can access them. It might be a different...

    A possible PND-system replacement

I vote for AppImage. Does pretty much all we need. That appdata folder would be obsolete but in the same location as the AppImage is

The story of how to bring back _ and : on Debian 12 Bookworm (Download provided)

I have made a minor modification to the pyra layout. It is not required to update however it makes the file more robust. Updated file is attached to the first post. Changelog: Added line: key <POWR> { [ XF86PowerOff ] }; Reason: This line is redundant and covered by inet already...

    Pandora still in repair

I 100% agree. This should not have happened and you should have gotten back your Pandora many months ago. I guess all what people want to say is that ED has no intention too scam you. This i clearly a mistake that has happened by bad incidents happening and coming together. Also I agree that...

    Pandora still in repair

I am sorry to insist on this, but for cases like this, where clearly something went wrong, there is a phone number (link above) you can call. You are by no means forced to use any third party application or service. ED does answer his phone (when he hears it and no loud machinery is running)...

    Pandora still in repair

No, you do not have to use a third party service. You can find a real telephone number here: https://dragonbox.de/en/content/legal-info.html ED answers to that at regular business hours (11:30-18:00 Europe time). If he does not answer, just try half an hour later. If you do not even want to own...

There is also the option to PM on the forums. It's just that the shop is not the same any more as it was 5-10 years ago. ED has even more mails to answer an stuff to manage.

    GOG.com

Taking into account how the last 2 years of GOG Galaxy updates went, Ido not have high hopes. There is so much potential, People asking about obvious features vocally and they get ignorerd/. GOG has potential to gain a bit more relevance if they really tried. Not saying that they will...

The story of how to bring back _ and : on Debian 12 Bookworm (Download provided)

Update: I spent quite a bit of time trying to get solution (2) to work. So I tried to make a systemd service that reloads the pyra symbols manually after xorg got initialized. Can this even work? I dpecified DISPLAY=0 but still the log says that it can not find the display. So can anyone help...

The story of how to bring back _ and : on Debian 12 Bookworm (Download provided)

Ah, right. Anyways, I remember that someone said that DBPs are broken, too on Bookworm. So checking this IS on my list ;) I will not touch the audio system, since there are already people at it who have more experience than I do with such subjects ;) Believe me, there is enough for me to do to...

DBPs are one of the lesser things I care about. I will probably not use that at all, or very little at best. After this topic I will focus on debugging LTE and why it is so bad. We need to figure out if this is a hardware or software issue. There are a few things open and DBPs are on my list...

The story of how to bring back _ and : on Debian 12 Bookworm (Download provided)

The long journey of a key press I have finally got to the root of the issue of why _ and : do not work on Bookworm. Since we all want to learn something I did a bit of a writeup about what is going on deep behind layers of key codes and keysyms, and what was the issue and how to fix it. Let's...
