    The difference between softhardfp and hardfp is basically the way the parameters are passed. While with softhard float the floating point hardware is used, it is still slower than hardfp. How much slower it actually is depends on the code and can vary quite a bit.

The PCB I have been trying it with, did not have a huge amount of components on it, but I could zoom in and out all the time, no problem whatsoever. No problem with CPU load...

    How so? I've got basically the same GPU (HD2500) and it works very well for me, including hardware accelerated video playback. Compared to the proprietary drivers of Nvidia and AMD, Intel's driver lacks behind with the latest OpenGL versions, but other than that I really can't complain. Works...
