Unfortunatelly I don't have my Pandora functional right now so I can't check it but combination of grsync and box.net might do the job. You can mount the box.net as a WebDAV storage (that means mount as a folder) and then rsync your folders either manually or automaticaly from cron. It's not as...
I have propably very lame question. I was browsing these boards on other pocket sized UMPC and I pressed by accident some key combo or perhaps clicked on something that displayed a quick navigation overlay with main forum structure. Now I'am not able to replicate that or find any button/link to...
Good deduction hmc. I might have a look at this too as my Panda awaits new LCD cable and some case parts and sits on the shelve disassembled. I'm personally bothered only by that bulge under the screen, other symptoms you are picturing are less obvious on my case. I.e. that concave bend of the...
Thanks dgame! For completeness ... it looks like this with all values relevant for that Cree LED I use:
Thanks to this scheme I can finally understand the LEDs forward current graph and the role of the resistor (read as "I was enlightned"). It has to knock down the voltage to provide LED...
No, it doesn't blind you. You are normally facing Pandora's screen and the LED is directed down to the keys and it is intruded a bit into the lid.
That's how I understand it too. But I'm not sure if it should protect the circuit from too hungry LED or the LED from high current/voltage levels...
On my very first Pandora I made my own grips form Sugru. Nothing fancy but helped me at that time. I didn't do the same with new case (the old black got crackings) as I got used to the form of Pandora. I'll try to dig out some pics of grips I made. Good thing with Sugru is that you can easily...
Thanks for your replies!
The LED I've used was running fine just with PWM controlled values (thanks WizardStan, I completely forgot it's PWM) when kept low, no overheating or high mA draining (checked with SystemInfo PND). But I thought it might be good to define some treshold on HW level...
So, good news, bad news and good news again.
Good one:
All pictures so far can be viewed at my flickr set. I've finished the hack today early in the morning successfully but I already knew that I will have to redo some things. LED was little bit moving in the hole when opening/closing the...
Very short update: I've succeeded and have a Pandora with nice KB light \o/. Going to bed now (2AM). I'll hopefully post a few pictures today evening and start writting documentation this weekend.
I'm also vivid user and a big fan of Lenovo USB Keyboard with Trackpoint. I enjoy the fact that you don't have to put your hands off the kbd too, makes me faster and more efficient. In my experience the best trackpoints were on the old IBM products, Lenovo feels slightly less good but still best...
ED, you are absolutely right but I really saw domain URLs which in some browsers threw an error without typing www. and in others it ran fine. Also serverside-wise everything was set properly. Desperate situations sometimes require desperate and irrational solutions :D
Go for 1GHz if you can. Otherwise you will always be calmless about your decision later, thinking of the possibilities of stronger machine ;-)
If you like high end audio, you'll be very happy with either options.
Maybe try some alternative browser (Opera if I can recommend). My experience tells me that some browsers require www. in front of the url, they can't handle just openpandora.org.
