WizardStan, thank you! This is something what I was hoping for. I think I should be able to make a simple script with zenity frontend for light intensity selection.
Another challenge for me now is to find out how to make a simple surface mounted connector on those pads so I can disconnect the...
When using Pandora in the evening, I'm finding my self quite often in the situation when I have to move closer to the light source to type something on the keyboard. Yes, I know that I can bend the LCD into 90° position to enlight the keys but that's not comfortable to type and it's unnecessary...
This is what helped my left shouldie. When I opened the case it felt ok but in direct comparison with right button it was slightly tighter. So I rubed the hole in the button by few turns of drill 4 until I saw little amount of gray powder coming out. After that the button felt as smooth as the...
Automatic start after battery insertion is normal behavior. (in case the battery is loaded)
I used to have the same problem (constant restarts) with my first gen Pandora. I fixed that by ensuring stable position of the battery in its compartment. I simply put small piece of folded paper from...
Great! I never knew about "Fullscreen" option! This changes all! T H A N K S!
Same here with window being a few pixels to the right. I usually dragged a bit the window to the left and it snapped to the screen edge.
I'm affraid that re-aligning the quick slot items properly including the "V"...
There is a lot more of those who write to home, here is list of mine:
Freemind
gstreamer
Java
mplayer
mucommander
Pan Newsreader
sylpheed
Portabase
As they mostly store just some configs and not doing constant writting it should be ok.
But i.e. Pan Newsreader stored the...
Can somebody please test the PND attached to this post? Post your hw specs and version of Java you've used. Thanks.
It should run in 800x480 but still not in true fullscreen (window decorations are still present). It runs fine on my 1GHz unit with the latest Java PND and Oracle's JRE. I tried...
I've already contacted the developer before I published the low-res PND. He even suggested the disassembly and recompilation of the class and he seemed to be happy about Pandora port. But I agree with contacting him again in case you touched the program further then just amending values in it...
Looks great! I've send you a PM, nagelfar.
Now we have to see if Pandora's JRE accepts call for fullscreen with appropriate resolution fitting the screen.
pmprog, thanks for the link, that was exactly what I needed, some simple instructions about JAR basics.
P.S.: nagelfar, could you...
Removing KEVGLASS files and editing MANIFEST in combination with original loy-latest.jar doesn't throw error but game doesn't start.
I've also tried progressively hexediting .class file one value by one and always checking decompiled result. Somehow I'm not able to replace all 600 values...
Interesting, I've followed the suggestion of Letalis Sonus, used pmprogs class file and although the game doesn't run, it doesn't complain about failed start up. Looks like a slight progress :-)
I hear it too (1st batch 256MB). Always thought it's random. May focus on when it happens since now on.
And my feeling is that it started with some of the latest OS versions. Never heard it before.
Thanks for the file but unfortunatelly it doesn't work. Game fails to start.
Just FYI, game checks for the updates online and if it finds a newer version of loy-latest.jar it downloads it and overwrites any updated one.
If I disable the update in run.properties file of the game it just...
Thanks. Classeditor doesn't reveal the source code in it's pure form. If I search for "600" I get only the string of the error message.
Now I managed to decompile it with JD-GUI and can see the source in it's pure form.
I've done this before but didn't know what to do with it and got some...
Thanks to all for suggestions.
Unfortunatelly
- hexediting doesn't work - game fails to start up
- JBE doesn't allow me to read the source directly (at least my Java lame eyes can't read the prestructured tree of weird stuff :-D)
- Eclipse - I've managed to decompile and read the sources...
Thanks pmprog, I even didn't think of hexediting it ... cool, gonna try it!
I was already feeling that loading Eclipse and JAD is like hunting flies with RPG :-)
Is there somebody skilled in Java here? I'm in need of help with decompilation > edit > compilation of one particular .class in Legend Of Yore.
I've contacted the developer of the game, Kevin. He's friendly guy and happy about port of LoY to Pandora but he's currently quite busy with normal...
I usually take the generic linux package of the app which quite often contains the .sh script with all necessary calls and parameters and amend it a bit to Pandora's environment if needed, adding some variables, wrapping it into PND with manually edited PXML.
