The titles and header looks good. Not sure about the big red box though. Edit: Actually looking at it longer. I don't see anything wrong with it :P Edit2: Yeah this is really good, makes me want to kill myself less. Good job.

It's actually just http://cssr.ru/simpliste/ with Snobbish style. I thought EvilDragon just needs something simple, and putting all the necessary information to single page would be best IMO. And the blog on separate "tab link".

I actually hate web development, but here is mine: http://cloudef.eu/pyra/ (better use those reset stylesheets and ready styles made by others)

I (and maybe others) asked for the Linux support and apparently it got included :)

    32bits GLES?

X most likely is still there, just skrewed. You can fix this by using fbdev xorg driver on 32bit mode, as IIRC the omapfb xorg driver doesn't work on this mode. Not really.. You could create C binary with SUID attribute that runs those two commands (doesn't need sudo then) and ask it to be...

    32bits GLES?

http://tiprocessors.com/index.php/GSG:_OMAP35x_Graphics_SDK_Additional_Procedures#Testing_the_support_for_ARGB8888_in_Frame_Buffer_Driver Related, you need to reload the module after fbset. No idea if it works though, good luck. If you manage to get it working though, note that performance...

    32bits GLES?

strace -e open to see where it tries to open that file. It's documented in PVR SGX docs (and all the possible variables). Xorg configuration should have nothing to do with SGX bit depth (at least in framebuffer mode). You might need to play around with fbset perhaps.

I see, in that case it might be more helpful then.

    Pandora PNDManager

The out files probably don't help much in this case. It might be just bad network. And even when there is HTTP resume supported, even that seems to fail from time to time (pnd gets corrupted) for unknown reason. The progress bar and stuck install / update problems might be concurrency issue...

The failing md5 check might be that the repository db isn't up-to-date as well (contains wrong md5 for the file you are downloading). Try syncing or removing repo.db from libpndman appdata and syncing again, if that dint work.

    Arch Linux ARM fresh rootfs

omapfb should work with tv-out, however, I'm not sure if my backport works with latest xorg anymore. Might need to be updated since omapfb is no longer developed. (you can still use fbdev, if omapfb fails)

What do you dislike the most in the actual Pandora.

Touchscreen that can activate all the pins in TWEWY. (I'm looking at you 1ghz)

    Question about Linux UI "portability"

Unity needs patched libraries that canoncial hasn't even tried to get upstream AFAIK. Basically to get them running on other distro, you need to compile and use older versions of the libraries with ubuntu patches, which is PITA and not worth the effort. (Though for example arch linux on AUR...

[announce] c64_tools (DSP loader and IPC)

I can say that the overdraw is the worst bottlenecks I've found on pandora's SGX. (with transparency of course, hidden surface removal deals with it quite well for opaque geometry) But it's pretty easy to deal with it using convex shapes and such (reducing overdraw). You won't really hit...

    Release Space Rocks!

The mouse cursor can be easily hidden when in x11 window. I think it could be done for next release as it has no function. Btw, I took the highscore again :)

    Release Space Rocks!

@cloudef Yeah, pause/low power is nice, but sometimes I want to be able to do other things on my Pandora. Going to desktop, or switching window would be possible in the pure x11 mode, there is slight FPS loss though. I'm not sure if there is good way to do this on framebuffer mode. It might...
