Hello,
I'm selling the following handhelds:
Anbernic RG300: Black, IPS version, perfect condition, in its box, for 69 euros.
Powkiddy V90: Yellow, perfect condition, in its box, for 44 euros. EDIT: SOLD.
GPD XD PLUS: Black, cleanROM firmware, perfect condition, in its box, for 194 euros...
This looks incredible, the ultimate UMPC. Though I hope it'll be sent to reviewers before the IGG campaign starts, I might get the $799 one.
I'm worried about the DPAD placement, and the overall comfort: weight, heat, noise, and battery consumption.
I also hope that the fan can be turned off...
Considering the shot with the Switch Lite, the Win3 is around the same width, which also make it the same width as... the WinMax!
So we're getting a similar size as the WinMax (but with around 30% less height) and a MUCH smaller screen (5.5" vs 8").
I'm really not sure about this. Did GPD...
The format is very intriguing... I always was curious about the Vaio UX UMPCs.
Considering the bench in the video, it's 50% faster than the Win Max at 15w vs 25w. Impressive! At 5w it should be as fast as the Win 2 - which is all I need, with probably total silence and very high battery life...
I'm in France so I don't know, but I got mine from goretroid.com
I've just received my RP2 with the DMG skin, after around 6 weeks. First impression, it's beautiful! The build quality and feel is crazy good!
The RG350P was already impressive, but I think this RP2 looks even better, and it can...
Major news: MS has just acquired Zenimax / Bethesda!
So, Elder Scroll 6 now Xbox exclusive and included day one in Gamepass o_O
And all first party MS games releases on Windows day one. I think I'll get Gamepass for PC
120$ a year is the price of 2x 60$ games per year, good deal in my...
Actually I think that for me, the main argument for these sub $100 handhelds is portability.
I always have the Powkiddy V90 in my pocket when I'm out, the form factor is just perfect - GBA SP style. Though unfortunately it feels really cheap unlike the RG350P. Low specs, mushy DPAD, overall...
I think the hinge is at the middle of the screen's height - you can see it on the middle shot. This allows both laptop and tablet modes. This is pretty cool actually, I wish the GPD WinMax did this.
EDIT:
Here's a laptop that have a similar hinge.
No idea, I never use the Xbox guide button... Do you mean in Android or in the streamed PC? What tool are you using for mapping?
This Ipega doesn't require any mapping on Android and acts as an XInput gamepad. I use JoyToKey on the streamed PC when I need mouse / keyboard mappings.
Also, on...
Crazy specs! Well done GPD ;)
Iris Plus Graphics 940 with 64EU would be around 1 TFlops - and 2 TFlops at half precision. Considering the lower 720p / 800p target resolution this handheld should do Xbox One / PS4 quality graphics
Happy to help!
I'm very interested in the GPD Win Max, the specs and design looks awesome, but I have just one concern: How it feels in the hands.
I plan to use it as a handheld, not a laptop, but the Max seems a bit too big for that - the gaming controls looks uncomfortable, especially...
Thanks!
About your setup, depends on what you plan to do with it.
Personally my priority is:
- Streaming my PC / PS4.
- Native retro emulation using RetroArch up to the Dreamcast.
- Saturn via Yaba Sanshiro, PSP via PPSSPP.
- DS via Drastic. Playing in portrait in HD looks and feels awesome...
