Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

Thanks, that is not very far from what is currently done. The problem is due to some inconsistencies in the way different engines push event orders to the backend. In the case of the old build SCI and Lure engines. Hence the need for a little more clean API work in the ScummVM case to direct the...

Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

Actually, Regarding the mixed location response issues. If anyone wants to test that would be grand. There are actually fixes (and some refractoring) that have gone in to help with this issue but it is not as easy a fix as one might imagine and is separate from the drifting touchscreen...

Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

I can try Lure tonight but the TS code has been tweaked and the hidden cursor hack reinstated so touchscreen should be pretty spot on and not drift when you go outside the screen boundary. John

Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

Thanks for that. There are a few screen size tweaks I may do but after doing a little testing of my own I am fairly happy with it. If anybody wants to test more exotic games that would be great. Otherwise, expect this to surface as an official 1.5.* release shortly. John

Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

Does anybody want to kick the tires of http://djwillis.open...it-24-07-12.pnd for me? I would appreciate it if people don't link to it all over the place or copy it anywhere as it is just a simple test compile and I just want a few people to give it a test. It's just a build from the GIT...

Raspberry Pi - 25 Dollar PC on a USB stick

Scary, posts seem to end up all over the place really quickly :o . It's an interesting little board to mess about with and if people can get a full ARMv6 distro on it performance should not be that bad for the target user base.

Any chance of getting an updated version of SCUMMVM ?

I have not had any time to really do anything on this, well anything at all, for the last few months. Various stuff that I don't plan on going into. It is sufficient to say, not really enjoying 2012. Anyway, there have been bugs in the OP ScummVM codebase since the 1.2.0 release (well 1.3.0...

(not the usual) ScummVM touchscreen issue

Pretty sure this is only a bug in the SCI engine and something I know about but the fix causes regressions elsewhere (and I REALLY don't like checking the running engine in the backend, that is messy). When I get around to doing a new build try it on that (no ETA as life is mental) and let me...

Scummvm: ‘Git 6B8Fb196-Pre1.4.0’ Builds For Gph Devices (Gp2Xwiz And C

Thanks, been a while. That was something I was pondering but I am trying to avoid lots of per device hacks and it actually makes things a bit harder to play in my tests. As you have black space above the screen it is actually fairly hard to hit the stuff that fires on the screen 'edges' (like...

Scummvm: ‘Git 6B8Fb196-Pre1.4.0’ Builds For Gph Devices (Gp2Xwiz And C

Not sure about the one on the archive, I never post non-official builds on it (and I ask people not to do it) but I am pretty sure it was my build or someone else building my code. The way people talk about 'archive builds' it almost feels that people have forgotten that you can find official...

Scummvm: ‘Git 6B8Fb196-Pre1.4.0’ Builds For Gph Devices (Gp2Xwiz And C

Thanks for the feedback, I'll dig out COMI and give it a test. When you say better, better than what? ancient test builds or my official 1.2.1 releases? I don't actually own any FM-Towns stuff to test but I'll see what I can track down. Hoping some the the graphics issues may all be down to...

Scummvm: ‘Git 6B8Fb196-Pre1.4.0’ Builds For Gph Devices (Gp2Xwiz And C

Hi, I have started to work on getting the GPH ScummVM backend back into shape once more, I have placed some test builds up on my site and I am looking for a little help with feedback and community bug reporting to try and get the backend into a good stable state for all the GPH devices by the...

Release Scummvm: “1.2.0 Preview 1” For The Openpandora.

You should be using the official 1.2.1 release not this ancient 1.2.0 test release ;). http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm/scummvm-1.2.1-openpandora.zip?download That said, a 1.3.* release is coming but personal time constraints (well work really) mean it may not get done till 1.3.1 is...

    GP2X Open2X Toolchain Is Now Compatible With Apple's Os X 10.5

Your correct that the Open2X build scripts have not been updated in some time but I do build them now and again to check they still build (and when I make up a new PC etc.). As for Makefiles/X-Code etc., there is nothing special about using the Open2X tool chains, just use then like you would...

Release Scummvm: “1.2.0 Preview 1” For The Openpandora.

It's not an emulator so that's not going to happen ;) . Inside the PXML it is actually setup as follows <categories> <category name="Game"> <subcategory name="Adventure Games"/> </category> </categories> I'll take a look at why it gets stuck in the 'Other' bucket in...

    Golden Pandora Alert!

Off topic but the Unimog is great :) . Always fancied one (helped try and put Unimog axles on a Land Rover once (not on my own one however), that was a lot of work and only used the 'baby' ones from a 404 ;) ).

    Golden Pandora Alert!

I was giving some REALLY serious thought to doing one of my cases with some base coat and bronzing powder with clear coat, it already tends to live in a Victorian wooden case on my desk anyway ;) . Maybe a cog motif around the raised logo, need to give it to an artist friend for that. The only...

    Wifi Dongle On Pandora?

I don't have the list handy but there are some USB WiFi drivers baked into the image on the OP. Just not all that many. Most older sticks that Linux has supported for eons should work ;). They are also the versions of the drivers that shipped with 2.6.27 not backports/tailors of more recent...

    Golden Pandora Alert!

I wonder how may OS bug fixes I could trade for a Blue case . Assuming the clear coat is nice and tough and will stand up to use they do look good.
