If you want to switch the joystick from the right nub to the left nub, then this will not work by using "Chocolate versions setup" as it depends on pressing a fire-button. Alas the nubs are separate devices without a fire-button. Workaround -> Manually edit...
Edit: Forget the following instructions. I completely oversaw the menu-point "Chocolate versions setup" in the zenity-menu. lol Sorry for denying your work, Gaussen. ;)
Note: If you want to change the settings with "./chocolate-setup" then you have to change the the HOME-variable to...
Update: Seems like I didn't run the timidity-midi-installer since updating my sdcard to the new OS. After running it I got sound directly.
That goes for "native MIDI"-support. Unfortunately I am among the few people who prefer OPL/adlib-sounds. Not sure if I can switch to "opl MIDI"/adlib...
- backuped my modified game_list
- removed the appdata-folder
- replaced cocoa_doom.pnd with the new version you linked
- ran cocoa-doom, left it opened and verified that all files are owned my user-account. Check.
- copied back game_list into the appdata-folder and added the -iwad-parameter...
>That's exactly where I get the files (and are the same you are posting). Then I follow this instructions.
Hihi. That's exactly the instructions I found too. Seems like we are walking the same internet-paths. ;)
>This happens because chocolate-doom can't find your doom2.wad. If I add the...
You would need something like the opposite: key2joy. I don't know of any tools that does that.
If you tell me which dosbox-version is recommended (I didn't try dosbox on the Pandora yet) and which game you are trying to run, then I can try to get something going. Maybe something can be done...
$ md5sum doom2.wad
25e1459ca71d321525f84628f45ca8cd doom2.wad
According to the doomwiki this is the same version as yours. Did you get your Mordeth-wads from http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=7694? (Note to mods: AFAIK this is a legal download, otherwise I wouldn't post it.)...
I was not able to edit the config-files as they (as well as some other files) were owned by root.
Was that just a little issue on my system? Anyway, I solved it by doing a "sudo chown -R lmx:lmx /mnt/utmp/cocoa_doom/data/" while the pnd was mounted. As there are other files that are owned by...
Tested. Works.
Here are some hints that I find out while trying to remember the Blender-controls:
- you can turn view by holding ALT and using the touchscreen. Or press Alt+hold the right nub left (leftclick) and use the left nub to rotate (just like with Alt+Touchscreen)
-...
- Were did you get the emulator from? From here?
- Which format do the disk-image-files have? They should be .adf at the end.
- Which kickstarts-images did you use? What is their filename? Where did you place them? Related to this: What does the screen show when you start the emulator...
hm, I'm not sure if it can be done. Here are just a few basic thoughts (which might be crappy) and infos.
If you look at http://pandorawiki.o...interface#Input, then you will see that the two nubs and the ABXY-buttons are separate devices. The buttons belong to the gpio-keys which are: the...
I am wondering too what john4p was refering to. I would expect [R] to be the right shoulder-button. But that doesn't have an effect. And if it would have, then I would expect that to be a shortkey to quit the emulator, which can be done by pressing "select" and then "q".
I still didn't try out...
This hooked me up. After thinking about it, I didn't see a reason why it should work for setting the default browser/mailreader/terminal but not for setting something like the movieplayer. I tried around and alas I do not manage to pass an URL to the default browser (I tried firefox) by using a...
@Mario: Thanks for the helpful links. While writing the above instructions I vaguely remembered that I somewhere read a much faster way of doing this. Now I know in which context it was (browser/mailreader/terminal). Beside the fact that I didn't manage to make a similar pnd_run-command work...
Thanks for the reply. Cleared some things up. Don't worry about the tutorials. I will try to find something on my own. And to some extend you already helped me as mentioned before.
I tried running "sudo ldconfig" after ending the C/C++-CLI and it helps. Not perfectly, but with a little delay...
To be honest I didn't exactly remember the effect of "exec". Your appreciated explanation reminded me that I wanted to look it up. I took a look at "man bash" anyway and noticed that "exec" has a different effect than you explained:
exec [-cl] [-a name] [command [arguments]]
If...
A couple of things:
1.) when i run the command-line-version ("C/C++ Command Line Interface") I am prompted with the following errors. I'm not sure if you are aware of them or if they should be fixed:
ldconfig: /mnt/utmp/codeblocks/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.16-gdb.py is not an ELF file - it...
This is a rather old post, but since it has been unanswer and I just wrote an instruction in a different thread, I do think it might be helpful to point to that instruction:
