    It's software this time!

Hmm. Then I suspect that you may not understand the microUSB 3.0 port and how it works. The "normal microUSB port" on your GN2 is capable of connecting only to the "normal Micro USB Port" and is capable of USB 2 speeds. The "wide microUSB port" on the GN3 (and on the Pyra) is capable of...

Teenage Engineering on-ear headset with removable boom mic

Dogs ate my 'good' headset that I was using for the endless barrage of conference calls I have been on during this extended Work From Home saga. I went hunting for a replacement, found mostly overpriced junk. Then I stumbled on these: At $80 they are not cheap. But - they sound awesome - I...

    It's software this time!

I suspect that the above listing with a 5 pins visible USB female port is a bad render and not a photograph. None of the USB 3.0 SS cables that I have (that work at SS speeds) have 5 pins - no USB device or cable that I have, and I have dozens, has that 5 pin layout.

Granted, microUSB 3.0 (wide form factor) cables are not as common as they once were, and because Amazon has completely screwed up their search and removed any capabilities it once had to search specific terms, they can be a pain to find. The key bit from the above, though, is that you need to...

    Download Pyra Debian OS (WIP)

Does anyone have any (rough) estimate for when the next packaged OS image will be coming out with 3D + Tiler? Mostly wondering if this is days, weeks or months out. Thanks!

Those are actually not that hard to find if you know the right keywords for Amazon. microusb 3.0 galaxy Why galaxy? Galaxy Note 3 used the same connector as the Pyra.

    OneNetbook OneGX

For 'out of the box' compatibility with Linux on a pre-production prototype machine meant to run Windows 10, that is pretty darn good. @EvilDragon sells other products from this company. I wonder if he is going to be able to sell pre-orders for it.

Information about OS / Kernel / Prototypes

For those of us who can't seem to follow those links due to restrictions from our corporate overlords, could you (or someone) give a one or two sentence synopsis of, "What's Up?"

If you're looking for requests, can you port over the Vulture's Eye that we had for Pandora?

https://liliputing.com/2020/06/lilbits-6-22-2020.html Another interesting tidbit. 4G and maybe 5G options seem to be coming for this one. Is there anyone on the boards here that can translate the spec sheet? I can see some 'key terms' in there, but having the additional context could be...

Looking at a freeze frame of that video, I think I like the keyboard layout on this one a bit better than the WinMax. Why? Mostly because Tab is in a sane position. Yes, the keys are less than full size, but I have found I can touch type on the diminutive keyboard of the Planet Computers...

If there were rational laws in place, this behavior would be as illegal as someone walking into a shop (breaking and entering) and plastering the walls with paid advertising for other stores (vandalism). Sorry you have to pay the price for their misdeeds by having to take the time to manually...

So, easy yes there. This has been an uncertainty in the project and he seems to have cracked it Is there any chance this could be a natural lead-in to getting hardware support for H.264 working too? I'm looking forward to when his stuff gets rolled into the main release OS.

A few bits to add. Looking forward to it! Where would I find the steps for us non-devs to go from 'old OS on Prototype' to 'current OS with Supertux 2 running'? I understood that what we have so far is 'proof of concept' and isn't quite rolled into the main OS release - but close. The...

So, how long until we can be at a point where I can install Supertux on it? :D Great news! I have been looking forward to this.

Exactly. Also - there was a very similar camera device made for the Tapwave Zodiac. I have one of those Tapwave camera modules around here somewhere - it wasn't very good.

My main computer for the last ~6 years has been an HP Z800 workstation. Those were first released in 2009, so it is roughly 12 years old. Six years ago I bought mine for $400. The Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card that is in it now cost me more than that though. I don't consider that machine to...
