    Release Pandora System Info

bq27500 has no way of knowing if the battery is connected or not, so it always assumes it is. My guess would be that the battery connector is broken and the system is always in CV (no-battery) mode.

Looks like WPA2 have been cracked

Ok that gives more than enough confidence, update now published.

Looks like WPA2 have been cracked

Thanks for testing, I'll probably push the update out for everyone tomorrow.

Looks like WPA2 have been cracked

So to update to 2.3 is almost same amount of work as to update to 2.6, so I've done the later. 2.6 wants newer gnutls, so updated to the last version to use the old ABI (luckily that's sufficient), which also wanted slightly newer gcrypt. That's all as far as dependencies go, and about things...

    Update PicoDrive 1.92

Here is a test build with the feature (see "advanced options"), done in a way to try to not break sound: http://notaz.gp2x.de/releases/PicoDrive/PicoDrive_192_27.pnd Just out of interest, what games do you want it for? A few games I could think of that are severely CPU limited (Road Rash...

    Yes I've seen that, and?

Looks like WPA2 have been cracked

I already posted about those patches in this very thread, they're for 2.6, we use 2.2.

    Update PicoDrive 1.92

It can be done, but it'll break many games because of wrong timing. Is that ok anyway? The PSP port in my tree is outdated and broken, far from even compiling. Somebody else is doing releases from his own fork and hasn't contributed any changes back, but it's probably best to wait for him as I...

Looks like WPA2 have been cracked

Most vulnerabilities apply to the client, so updating the clients is the most important. With that, any ideas how to deal with this on pandora? Pandora is currently using wpa_supplicant 2.2, while the patches were only published for 2.6 and dev version, so probably have to upgrade wpa_supplicant...

    Update PicoDrive 1.92

It looks for .zip or .bin in pandora/appdata/picodrive with these base names: https://github.com/notaz/picodrive/blob/master/platform/common/emu.c#L153 For example, I have eu_mcd2_9306.zip jp_mcd1_9112.zip and us_scd2_9306.zip in pandora/appdata/picodrive/ . I think it should be, yes.

    Update PicoDrive 1.92

No idea if anyone is still using this, but here is an update, almost exactly 4 years since the last one. The main reason for doing this update was because I wanted to run the new Cave Story MD port (really impressive, check it out!), but it had the sound completely broken. There was also a new...

    ca-certificate update?

I've updated ca-certificates, the update throws some errors about doing something with certificates removed by this very update, but the final result is similar to what I have on the desktop. However the mentioned alterslash.org still doesn't work. Seems to be some more involved issue, probably...

    ca-certificate update?

No pages at all? I might take a look at it at the weekend, feel free to remind me in case I forget.

BlueBorne Vulnerabilities Impact Over 5 Billion Bluetooth-Enabled Devices

Finally published the updates, both kernel and bluez fixes. Would be good if somebody tested if bluetooth still works. 3.2.93 doesn't contain the fix, so I hoped another update would follow soon, but it didn't, however Debian oldoldstable does contain the backported patch, so just applied that.

I'm out of ideas for news-titles

Well it's already not only in EOL but in a strange "we pretend it never existed" state. Try to find anything about OMAP5 itself (not the EVM boards) in TI's webpage...

    Letux-OS

Your makesd has a problem that we recently discovered on the pyra: tar extraction is trying to magically convert uid/gid of all files to match between hosts. For example, if there is a file belonging to user "lightdm" uid=84 in in the tar, but the host used to prepare the SD is using a different...

BlueBorne Vulnerabilities Impact Over 5 Billion Bluetooth-Enabled Devices

There are multiple bugs, some of them are in the kernel, others in bluez. I can push a kernel update once 3.2 (still supported) backport appears, but with bluez it will be more difficult as (AFAIK) no supported distros use 4.x bluez any more.

    Update Retroarch 1.7.3

It links for me, but I'm using normal 'ld', not 'ld.gold'.
