DraStic Nintendo DS emulator teaser video

Some DSi-games require more memory than both the DS and DS-Lite models, even with the addition of a 3in1/ memory cartridge in the GBA slot. The largest Memory Expansion I have seen for that slot is 8MB. Combined with the 4MB onboard memory of the DS/DSLite that still can't top the 16MB that the...

DraStic Nintendo DS emulator teaser video

Amazing work. Chrono Trigger DS runs at acceptable speeds. For the presently shown performance I'd still choose the SNES version, even though that version has slightly mediocre audio when compared to the DS version and lacks the beautiful cutscenes. Any project that will diversify the use of...

    [Ported Game] XLogical

Ah, and I didn't even try..., how lazy of me ;) That would be great! I'd love to see that corrected. I would go for the following algorithm (in plain speech that is: When tapping a dpad direction, first look for a perfect match in that direction (for instance when tapping UP look if there is...

    [Ported Game] XLogical

Great port, enjoying it (and some memory lanes from 2000 ;) Loving the mods playing on the background. Makes me feel a pang of regret for not buying the Amiga when it was still around in it's old style in the times that I still had much more time for gaming... == Controls == I like the way...

    It's arrived!!! Questions...

Thanks for the pointers. Right now, I simply don't have the time to hack the firmware, but if all it takes is to add/ change some constants and recompile, then it shou;dn't be too hard. I have some experience in Java and I did unsuccesfully follow a course in C, so I guess I would be able to...

    It's arrived!!! Questions...

I received my 1GHz upgraded Open Panda a couple of days ago. I gave in to the charming Christmas offer by EvilDragon. It's been a mixed bag for me so far. It has great potential, running just about every pnd'ed app flawlessly. Thank you all you developers providing the community with PND's...

    Firmware suggestions and contributions

Great thread. Many useful suggestions here. Firmware options I'd like to see are: 1) The custom KB/ nub/ gamebuttons config. per app possibility mentioned by mrLoon sounds like a great idea possibly bundled with a PND'ed xev. 2) An easy option to remap *any* keys, including the Fn + [other...

    Casing colours

Indigo for me, but through and through, no paint please. I also like the transparent idea, but usually tranparent plastic is much weaker than the opaque alternative. Another favorite would be pearl white, but only if the pigment is not that UV-sensitive and it should be easy to clean!

    An indigo Pandora...

Titanium would be great, but probably a tad expensive ;) and dangerously conductive... I really like the indigo, but it should not be paint, but through and through. The supporting "disc" part for the abxy buttons would have to be indigo as well...

    My Pandora Wishlist

    1) I'd like to have e-paper screens embedded into the buttons so that the original key layout can be shown. Why e-Paper and not Led display? Those screens whould only need energy when changing images. I don't know any console that is currently emulated that only had color-coding for the keys...

What do people think of the 1ghz Pandas?

I can't see enough people being able to afford $700,- ex. VAT and delivery for a handheld gaming device for this project to even break even. As mentioned before in this thread this is extremely bad for PR and it will cause you to gradually loose goodwill and become a gravestone in the annals of...

... and production still is reliable and moving forward :) (2012-05-11)

-The upgrade to the DM3730 sounds really nice, but won't that affect the runtime on one battery charge? It's a shame that components have to be ordered in such high quantities, or you might have a rolling release of hardware (as long as the newer hardware is 100% backward compatible with the...

Shortest newspost of all times (2012-02-22)

Fantastic news ED. Keeping my fingers crossed for the second boardside. All the prototypes went smoothly so I cautiously expect a smooth ride from here on. Cheers to the entire team! @Amon_Re, did something go wrong at your place? You are referring to Murphys' law are you not?

2 Months..... umm, weeks to go (2012-02-06)

OK, let's keep things simple: What I'd like to know is when the last (1st, 2nd Preorder) Pandora is scheduled to be *delivered* (Not produced, mind you, that's all virtual from a customer POV until the customer actually has the thing delivered to his/ her doorstep). If the last one of the...
