Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I thought there was some company "Global Components" or something that was going to take over assembly.

    Absurdism corner

Being called lazy is one of the worst insults in many Asian countries. It’s an agrarian mentality. I know many Koreans who spend all their energy trying to not appear lazy at work, to the point where they have no energy to do anything for themselves. It’s all about image. I don’t play that game...

    Formatting 32mb card for gp32

That formatting tool looks dodgy, it shouldn’t need most parameters. Can you format it on a newer windoze box or even Linux? FAT has not changed afaik.

I use a google pixel 2. it's 7 years old and crashes at crucial moments but it works for my basic needs and i don't know what to replace it with. everyone always asks me why i don't have an iphone. well, i find ios/ipad extremely clunky. too many button presses to do basic things. apple have...

Help me making a to play list

Prior to launch, Shigeru Miyamoto discussed the Virtual Boy. He said it renders wireframe graphics, but its effects are generally used for two-dimensional games with depth-separated planes. He stated that the graphics are not as appealing, and while developing the Nintendo 64, he had ruled out...

Just bought my old WIZ back.

makes me wonder why we are excited about the pyra. back then retro gaming meant reviving these classics but now everything is rehashed. what does pyra really offer over pandora? it's slightly better in many ways but can it even emulate anything that the pandora cannot? the comments in the yt...

    The Communication Cube

So google's search - and profit - dominance seems highly tenuous. Search engines are easy to switch. I believe that search revenues are what M$ is after primarily, with ai/gpt/whatever simply a means of attaining it. I currently use gpt as a better google / wiki. What I expected it to be all...

    The Communication Cube

So if Hwang is right that digital advertising is a bubble, then the pop would have to come from advertisers abandoning the platforms en masse, leading to a loss of investor confidence and a panicked stock sell-off. And GOOG, META, etc - these advertising companies posing as tech - disappear...

Imagine if it were always legal. Stoners are couch bound so WW2 surely wouldn’t have happened, Israel would never have been created, AI wouldn’t exist because we are paranoid of it and we’d all be retro gamers.

    The Communication Cube

So i pay for premium youtube, spotify, etc. to avoid pesky ads. I know that premium subscriptions account for the bulk of youtube profits even though most users opt for commercials. This seems to mean youtube gets less per user via advertising that what it costs to subscribe (like 20 bucks)...
