GP2X Civilized Gp2x

i had this running on my gp a few month'S ago, but the screen res is just to small for it to be fun, it would need some changes for lowres, maybe resized tiles, wich im to lazy to do right now.

I know it's not the same, but you may want to give the original Civilization on the Atari ST or on the SNES a try.

I'm pretty sure there's not much difference at all between ST and Windows PC versions, although the original DOS version may well be different. I played the ST version for years, until we lost the manual and had to guess the anti-piracy "on page 233 of the manual..." type questions. We actually had Railroad Tycoon before that.

Oh, the happy hours!

You could also try the amiga version.

The reason I don't want to use the computer versions is because controls are a pain. The virtual keyboard is ok but it's still cumbersome.

The PSX version of Civ 2 actually runs perfectly on psx4gp2x (minus sound obviously). Plus the screen res fits perfectly. I played it for a long while on my GP2X, got quite far, maybe into the 1900's?

BTW the last build I played it on was the Beta 2 (pre dynarec implementation). I have no idea how it runs with the latest version, but as I said, it was totally playable back then. :)
