    Dreamcast

So what do you guys think, (particularly those with dev experience) will there ever be a Dreamcast emulator that runs at playable speeds for most games?

    Spiderweb Software Games

Spiderwebsoftware.com makes games that resemble the games of past, that could run on stably, on older PCs. They offer free, large, demos that can be unlocked with a key code you receive when you buy the game. Perhaps someone could enter into a contract with them, promising not to release the...

    A question about Dreamcast emulation

Well I guess, but the idea that you seem to think its even a possibility makes me fear throwing down 350 bucks. But if you meant it as a far flung worst case scenario that almost assuredly won't come to pass, then I'll try not to let it affect my decision making.

    A question about Dreamcast emulation

You just said That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in someone about to give $350+ to a company he just found out about last week. . .

    A question about Dreamcast emulation

I might, but I have already had two die on me, I'd rather just get something more stable that I could play on the run and at home on my big screen.

    A question about Dreamcast emulation

My apologizes I was not aware of how the Bleemcast worked (and thanks for reminding me of the name). However, if emulators were created for individual games to get them to run on DC, could not the same thing be done for this? My Dreamcast died long ago, I'd love to play Shennmue again. EDIT...

    A question about Dreamcast emulation

I remember back in the day when the DC was still some what viable some company was trying to basically run a PSOne emulator on it. But what ended up happening was basically a few games got ported with updated graphics. Since DC emulation seems to still be unknown I was wondering if someone with...
